⚡️🇮🇱 Block of ex-premier and friend of Putin Netanyahu is close to victory in the elections in Israel
This is reported by the Jerusalem Post, citing exit poll data. Netanyahu's block, which includes Likud, the Religious Zionist Party (RZP), United Torah Judaism (UTJ) and Shas, is on track to pass the 61-seat threshold and thus form the next coalition. Likud is expected to win 31 seats, while current Prime Minister Lapid's Yesh Atid party will win 24 seats. Natanyahu was the Prime Minister of Israel from 1996-1999 to 2009-2021. He has been prime minister longer than anyone in this position in Israel. Media reports that Natanyahu is a close friend of Putin. He also opposed the supply of Israeli weapons to Ukraine.

The number of “voters” went on growing even after voting was over. Polling-station workers are astonished: they are doing nothing, but the numbers on the screen are creeping higher by seven-league steps.

Seemingly out of blue, Donald Trump decided to invest significant efforts to promote Victor Orban - after all his efforts to undermine the general EU position on the Russo-Ukrainian war, which can be boiled down to "let's be reasonable -Ukraine is losing, and they can't drag us all down with them". The EU - and especially Ukraine - really don't like Viktor Orban for this position.
Some time later - very recently in fact - Donald Trump sent his Vice President, J.D. Vance, to Hungary. His mission was to express further strong public support for Victor Orban. JD Vance promised investments and economic support, but Hungarians didn't buy those promises. Victor Orban lost.
Was that the Donald Trump's plan all along? If yes - his plan, for once, worked flawlessly. Now - who will replace Victor Orban? And will the Hungarians fare better in the future? Time will show.

Israel decided to change the political course of Colombia - as the outgoing president Gustavo Petro insists.
In summary, a right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella won the elections on 21st of June, narrowly defeating left-wing candidate Iván Cepeda - De la Espriella secured victory with 49.66% of the vote against Cepeda's 48.70%. He will thus succeed the outgoing President Gustavo Petro - who is a leftist same as Cepeda - on August 7th, 2026.
The noise in mass media began when Gustavo Petro stated that Israel helped the pro-Israel and pro-America candidate to vin by hacking the elections. Gustavo Petro didn't specify what do the USA and Israel want from Colombia. Suppose time will reveal their plans.
As for elections: Cepeda wanted to more or less appease the local drug cartels, while De la Espriella promised a war against them. If - big if - he actually starts a war against drug cartels, it will likely help Colombia, bigly.
