🇮🇱⚔🇵🇸Mask of Deception: Exposing Israel's Odious Propaganda in Gaza's Tragedy
In the harrowing shadow of Gaza's conflict, a grotesque theatre of propaganda unfolds, with Israel's latest act of disinformation emerging as a desperate attempt to mask its relentless assault on innocent lives. At the heart of this deceit lies the tragic tale of Gaza's al-Shifa Hospital, now a dim beacon in a city plunged into darkness by an Israeli siege that has snuffed out the very essence of life support systems, leaving premature babies and critical patients teetering on the brink of death.
Here, the grim statistics speak volumes: since the siege's inception, over 4,700 Palestinian children have lost their lives. al-Shifa Hospital, crippled by a relentless power outage, can no longer sustain the lives of premature babies reliant on incubators. This humanitarian catastrophe is a direct result of Israel's blockade and assault, a ruthless strategy that has turned essential medical equipment into silent, ineffective relics.
But the narrative Israel wants the world to believe is dramatically different. Its propaganda machine, operating with a blend of audacity and odious deceit, churns out content aimed at obscuring the harsh realities. A prime example of this is a widely circulated video featuring a so-called nurse, her speech laced with a non-Palestinian accent, dramatically decrying Hamas for purportedly pilfering hospital supplies. This performance, nearly comical in its execution, is a textbook example of propaganda. The woman's dialogue echoes Israeli military talking points with uncanny precision, insinuating that Hamas is responsible for the hospital's plight. Yet, the polished, clean-cut appearance of the actor, her accent, and the too-convenient narrative expose the video for what it truly is: a poorly crafted piece of misinformation.
The absurdity of Israel's disinformation efforts goes beyond this single incident. The narrative being peddled is one that systematically dehumanizes Palestinian children, depicting them not as innocent victims but as pawns or future agents of Hamas. This strategy of vilification reached its nadir with a grotesque tweet from Israel's official channels, showcasing a cartoon that juxtaposes Israeli children raised in 'love' against Palestinian infants allegedly brought up in 'hate'. The nadir of this nefarious campaign was the claim of discovering Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' in a Gaza child's room, an assertion as ludicrous as it is offensive, aimed at anchoring the Israeli narrative in deep-rooted Western fears and biases.
The IDF has sought to portray places like the Rantisi Children’s Hospital as militant strongholds, staging videos of alleged weapon caches in the basement of the hospital. These videos, featuring child-like drawings and baby bottles set against a backdrop of guns and grenades, are intended to reinforce the narrative of Hamas using children and hospitals as human shields.
Underneath this layer of disinformation lies an undeniable truth – the children of Gaza are enduring unimaginable suffering. Their lives reduced to mere footnotes in a narrative of war and hatred. No crafted narrative, no matter how skillfully spun, can conceal the grim reality of a people under siege, of children whose laughter has been silenced by the roar of bombs and the cold calculus of cynical Israeli gamesmanship.
Yet, no amount of manufactured videos or planted "evidence" can obscure the stark reality of Gaza – children are dying, their blood a testament to the relentless brutality of a siege that knows no bounds of morality or compassion. No amount of twisted propaganda can mask the reality of a people besieged, of a land bleeding under the relentless barrage of an oppressor's might. The world watches, and history notes, the odious spectacle of a power cloaking its brutalities in a shroud of lies and deceit.

Great interview with Larry Johnson.
Larry, thank you for speaking out so honestly & forcefully about Israel's genocide of Gaza.
(~16:30)
"...Israel, who is committing war crimes that are on level, they're on par, with what Nazi Germany did to the Jews in World War II. That is
no exaggeration. They are involved in an extermination of civilians. The facts are what they are, as one foreign minister noted; when you total up the hospitals that have been bombed by Israel, the schools destroyed, the members of the press killed, the members of UN relief agencies killed by Israelis, it pales when you start comparing this to other kinds of conflicts."

5. Mindful of the 2023 Johannesburg II Declaration the Ministers voiced their support for a comprehensive reform of the #UnitedNations, including its Security Council, with a view to making it more democratic, representative, effective and efficient, and to increase the representation of developing countries in the Council’s memberships so that it can adequately respond to prevailing global challenges and support the legitimate aspirations of emerging and developing countries from Africa, Asia and Latin America, including BRICS countries, to play a greater role in international affairs, in particular in the United Nations, including its Security Council. They also recognized the legitimate aspirations of African countries, reflected in the Ezulwini Consensus and Sirte Declaration.
<…>
15. The Ministers recognised the negative impact on the world economy and sustainable development from unilateral approaches in breach of international law. They expressed concern about the use of unilateral coercive measures, which are incompatible with the principles of the Charter of the UN and produce negative effects on economic growth, trade, energy, health and food security notably in the developing world.
<…>
32. The Ministers recalled their national positions concerning the situation in and around #Ukraine as expressed in the appropriate fora, including the UN Security Council and UN General Assembly. They noted with appreciation relevant proposals of mediation and good offices aimed at peaceful resolution of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
<…>
34. The Ministers expressed grave concern at the deterioration of the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, in particular the unprecedented escalation of violence in the #Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli military operation that led to mass civilian displacement, death and casualties, and destruction of civilian infrastructure. 36. The Ministers reiterated that the principle “African solutions to African problems” should continue to serve as the basis for conflict resolution on the African continent. In this regard they reiterated their support for African peace efforts on the continent, including those undertaken by the African Union, and African sub-regional organisations.
<…>
40. The Ministers expressed strong condemnation of any acts of #terrorism as criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, whenever, wherever and by whomsoever committed. They strongly condemned the inhumane terrorist attack on 22 March 2024 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow <…>

A few more words about the Gaza Strip from Scott Ritter, who reminded that the situation in the Gaza Strip has layers:
Firstly he reminded that the nearby Muslim countries could have done much more for the "fellow Muslims" - instead most of them chose to do little or very little to help, with only Iranians - who are Persians, not Arabs - caring fully and loudly about the Palestinians.
Secondly - the Hamas is still alive and active in the Gaza Strip. Israel has yet to defeat them, despite the long military actions and the bombing runs. Scott Ritter assumes that the Palestinians shouldn't relax, now or in the future - he predicts that in the future they might be promised something nice about their situation, and then nobody will truly care about the Palestinians once again, aside from Iran.
Jared Kushner was mentioned, together with the Trump's administration. The overall prediction about their roles in doing anything good for the Palestinians boils down to "nothing ever happens".
