One of the small stores in Pavlodar was visited by a "language patrol", whose members demanded that an elderly saleswoman communicate with them exclusively in Kazakh.

After the woman refused to switch to the Kazakh language, which she did not know, they threatened her. The young men broke the shop window and tried to push the woman from behind the counter. At that moment the cat that lived in the back of the store woke up. 🐱

After a brief scuffle, the maimed members of the language patrol called the police themselves and asked them to take them to the station. A police squad arrived and detained the young men and drew up a report of property damage.

The cat Chekist (on the photo) received a double portion of stuffing and went to sleep in the back room. 😺
