The most notorious promoter of the topic of rape was the former Commissioner for Human Rights of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Lyudmila Denisova. Her lies largely provoked the atrocities of the SSU against prisoners of war and their own citizens, suspected of sympathy for the Russians.

There is no doubt that the topic of sexual violence will continue to be used. After all, "The more monstrous the lie, the more willingly the crowd believes in it."
