이탈리아, BTC 결제 지원 업체 증가...식품 분야 암호화폐 결제 도입 '적극'

비트코인닷컴이 글로벌 시장 통계 사이트 STATISTA를 인용, 이탈리아 내 비트코인(BTC) 등 암호화폐 결제 지원 업체가 최근 크게 증가했다고 전했다. 특히 식품 영역 내 암호화폐 결제를 지원하는 기업이 350개로 타 업종 보다 암호화폐 결제에 우호적인 것으로 나타났다. 서비스 형태별로 보면 유통업체가 270개, 서비스 업체가 214개다. 한편 9월 말 기준 전세계 비트코인 ATM 시장 중 이탈리아 비중은 0.8% 수준이다.
