D-Link company refused to fix vulnerabilities in its routers model DIR-846, because their support period is over.
Therefore, if you have such a router, anyone can now hack it and execute arbitrary commands. For example, read your data transmitted over the network (and private keys) or connect a botnet to your router and attack government sites from your flat.
The instructions for hacking such routers were released on 27 August 2024, so the attacks will be on the rise now.
D-Link suggests throwing out these devices and buying new ones. With special ‘care’ for the environment and the trend of consumerism.

When ETH and other altcoins gain value against BTC, it suggests increased investor interest in altcoins, potentially signaling the beginning of an “altseason.”

Research team: Using only a license plate, we were able to remotely control key functions in Kia vehicles on June 11th, 2024. Regardless of whether a vehicle has an active Kia Connect subscription or not, these attacks could be executed remotely in about 30 seconds on any vehicle equipped with hardware.
Furthermore, an attacker could silently obtain personal information such as the victim's name, phone number, email address, and physical address. This would enable an attacker to add themselves as an invisible second user to the victim's vehicle.

He spent the four months he was sentenced to in prison. In addition to cooperating with the investigation, the entrepreneur immediately agreed to pay a $50 million fine and Binance agreed to pay $4.3 billion.

The European digital rights organisation NOYB (None Of Your Business) has filed a complaint against Mozilla (Firefox browser) with the Austrian data protection authority. The complaint alleges that the Privacy-Preserving Attribution feature in Firefox (which is enabled without users' consent) is used to track people's online behaviour.
