“Israeli” enemy army radio correspondent:

Election Committee Chairman Judge Solberg ordered Shin Bet chief David Zini to investigate suspicions of foreign funding and electoral bribery by foreign entities.

The suspicion is that foreign entities acting against “Israeli” interests financed electoral bribes. Accordingly, the Shin Bet was authorized to use all its investigative tools to investigate the case.

The Shin Bet chief was asked to submit findings on the matter within approximately one week.

These suspicions relate to the high voter turnout in the Arab community.

Statement issued by Hezbollah regarding Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s victory in the presidential elections and the UN’s position on the American blockade of Cuba:

Hezbollah extends its warmest congratulations to His Excellency Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his victory in the presidential elections and the renewal of the Brazilian people’s confidence in him, reflecting their democratic will and choices.

While congratulating President Lula on this victory, Hezbollah commends his positions in support of the just causes of peoples and their right to freedom and self-determination, particularly the Palestinian cause, his opposition to American hegemony, and his honorable positions condemning the genocidal war committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people. Hezbollah views the Brazilian people’s renewal of confidence in President Lula as confirmation of their commitment to independent national choices, free from foreign hegemony and dictates.

Hezbollah also welcomes the United Nations General Assembly’s resolution calling for an end to the American blockade imposed on Cuba, and congratulates the Cuban people on this victory for justice and truth after decades of blockade, pressure, and injustice. It further affirms that the American approach based on blockades, interference in other countries’ affairs, and subjugation of their peoples constitutes international terrorism and a violation of human rights. It exposes the falsehood of American claims about defending democracy and freedoms, a policy that the international community must confront to preserve what remains of the principles of international and humanitarian law. In this context, Hezbollah commends positions calling for respect for international law, rejection of wars and aggression, and support for the rights of peoples and their just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to freedom, self-determination, and resistance to occupation.

Hezbollah affirms its aspiration to strengthen friendly and cooperative relations between Lebanon, Brazil, and Cuba in ways that serve their peoples’ interests, help consolidate the values of sovereignty, independence, and justice, and build international relations based on mutual respect and rejection of hegemonic policies.

– What is needed is for us to look toward a country that cultivates, produces, and manufactures.

– The state must assume its responsibilities and take the initiative to assist farmers and industrialists, first by compensating those affected by the “Israeli” aggression, then by reducing production burdens and costs, and by helping market their products locally and internationally.

– Unfortunately, the policies pursued have contributed to undermining production, and the Lebanese state’s official performance remains far below what is required. We call on the state to fulfill its duties toward farmers and give this sector the attention it deserves.

– Until the state recognizes the importance of this sector, people must take the initiative themselves. We took the initiative many years ago, and the Jihad Al-Binaa Foundation is at the forefront of this important sector.

– This exhibition comes after the aggression against our country to help it rise again. It is a manifestation of social security.

– Many people awaited the results of the “Israeli” elections and treated them as an event on which to base their expectations. But when has there ever been a difference between the contenders for power regarding the issues of our region? They all agree on continuing the aggression against our country.

– All experiences have demonstrated that the Zionist entity’s expansionist project is one and the same, and its ambitions in our country are likewise unchanged. What matters to us is expelling the occupation, stopping the aggression, securing the return of our prisoners, and rebuilding our villages.

– Following the failure of the political option pursued by the authorities in Lebanon through direct negotiations, the available path for Lebanon is to accumulate internal sources of strength and return to a language of internal understanding.

– We call on everyone to assess the changes taking place in the region and make use of them in the interests of our country.

– The existence of a strong, caring state that assumes its responsibilities and protects its citizens is self-evident. Unfortunately, to this day, the Lebanese have not succeeded in building a state that protects and cares for them, which has compelled some to assume these responsibilities, including resisting the occupation.

– The purpose of the Resistance’s weapons is to liberate the land, and no one can prevent it from fulfilling this duty. It is untenable to insist on the principle of the state’s exclusive authority while the occupation remains entrenched on our land.

– This Resistance will remain and continue as long as there is an occupation. Once this country is liberated, the residents return, and reconstruction takes place, we will then be ready for internal dialogue with everyone who has the country’s best interests at heart.

– The Lebanese government is called upon to review its performance and choices, and to rise up in defense of national sovereignty in the face of the American infringement on Lebanon. It must act in accordance with the national interest and put an end to blatant American interference in Lebanon.

– We reject attempts to confiscate political life and turn Lebanon into an American protectorate.
