Hey Everyone!

This Friday, we will continue with the weekly meditation led by Venerable Chuan Guan. This week, the topic is on "Laziness".
Laziness is a hindrance that we all face, be it on the spiritual journey or in our everyday lives. Despite knowing what is best for us, we may not have the motivation or energy to dedicate our efforts. Hopefully, through this session, we hope to provide you with a tool for you to refocus your attention and direct your efforts towards your growth.

The session will be conducted on Zoom:
https://nus-sg.zoom.us/j/655613713

It will start at 7pm. Do grab your dinner, but make sure it isn't too heavy. Finally, stay home, stay safe and may you be well! To our friends having their examinations, we wish you all the very best and that you excel, despite the difficulties that you may face during this enduring time.
Hey Everyone,

Venerable Chuan Guan will be holding a one-day meditation retreat tomorrow, from 8am to 8pm. If you are interested, you can find out more here!

Happy Meditating!
Hey Everyone!

This week, we will continue with the weekly meditation series, on the topic of "Restlessness", under the guidance of Venerable Chuan Guan.

Restlessness is an issue. Specifically, it is an issue that we face, when we intend to do something. Something that we want to put effort into, or we know we have a need to complete. Meditation which aims to train one's concentration seems to be the solution to this problem. Is that really true? What about when we feel restless during our meditation? Wil meditation really help to tackle our restlessness? Find out more by joining us this Friday at 7pm on Zoom!

The link is: https://nus-sg.zoom.us/j/655613713

Finally, we hope that all will be well, safe and happy! Looking within, may all find peace during this enduring time.

Hey Everyone!!

Happy weekend! Hope everyone has had a fruitful week! This post is regarding Vesak Day, as we know social gathering is being prohibited due to the Covid-19 situation. However, though we may not be physically present to partake in Vesak Day activities, there are still other ways to partake in Vesak Day celebration online!!

Therefore, we will like to share the efforts of our spiritual friends from the Singapore Buddhist Federation. They are leading an initiative called Buddhist UNITED to consolidate and publicise all Buddhist activities that will be happening on Vesak Day, 7th May 2020. We aim to share information and reach out to the entire Buddhist community in Singapore via Facebook to celebrate this meaningful occasion.

So hop on over to their Facebook page to find out more, at:

We hope this message finds you well! May your practice be fruitful and liberating!

Hey Everyone!

This Friday, we will continue with the session with Venerable Chuan Guan, on the topic of "Doubt".

Doubt surfaces when we have questions about various things that we may be interested in. However, these doubts often hinder our understanding of the subject matter. When it comes to the practice of Buddhism, we may question, "What is Buddhism?", "Why do we practise Buddhism?", "How can we practise Buddhism?". These questions are also prevalent in our daily lives. This Friday, join us for the final session of this Meditation series, to answer some of these questions that we face.

Remember to have a light dinner before joining us at 7pm. The zoom link is:

Take care, everyone! Keep practising!!

Hey everyone!

Itโ€™s the first day of the end of the Circuit Breaker. As we attempt to recalibrate ourselves to search of a new sense of normalcy, there are bound to be struggles along the way. With the benefit of hindsight, what the COVID-19 situation has been, has been an opportunity for us to reflect, and a time for us to work on ourselves. So this Friday, join us for our sharing by Venerable Chuan Guan!

Venerable Chuan Guan was ordained under the Mahayana Tradition, but studied the Pali Canon extensively.

The topic โ€œCOVID-19: Facing our Aversionsโ€, is aimed to help better prepare us for the times ahead, that is equally filled with uncertainties.

The details are as stated below:

Venue: Zoom
Time: 1900

We hope to see you at the talk!
