Have you ever found yourself in a #situation where life throws a sudden #challenge your way, and you're not sure how to handle it? That's exactly what happened to me back in May 2014.
I was part of a team that was supposed to fly to #Hyderabad to interview the CEO of #Ocimum Biosolutions, a fast-growing startup, for our #Biotecnika Magazine (which has since been discontinued). I was going to be accompanied by a cameraman and a magazine editor, who was supposed to conduct the interview on camera.
However, as I was getting ready to head to the airport, the magazine editor called me to say that she was feeling nervous and sick and wouldn't be able to join me for the interview. I was faced with a choice: cancel the interview (which would cause a lot of embarrassment) or go ahead.
Even though I had never faced a camera before, conducted an interview, and didn't have a list of potential questions to ask, I decided to take the challenge head-on. And you know what? The interview went perfectly and was later publis

Have you ever found yourself saying "This can't be done!" or "There is no way out of this situation!"? If so, you may be experiencing what is known as "Elephant Thinking."
But what is #Elephant #Thinking? When a baby elephant is young, around 1-2 years old, it is often tamed and trained by being tied to a small iron chain. The baby elephant will try to break free from the chain for days, but since it is still small and inexperienced, it eventually comes to the conclusion that it cannot escape. As the elephant grows and becomes stronger, it still believes it is unable to break the chain, even though it is now a 6-ton animal with more than enough strength to do so.
So, how do we overcome Elephant Thinking? Here are a few tips:
#Challenge your own thoughts when faced with a difficult situation and believe that it can be solved.
#Seek out a supportive listener who can ask questions and help you brainstorm potential solutions.
#Engage in group discussions with colleagues, friends, or family members to come up w

659/- Indian Rupees: that was the cost of a newly launched 256 kbps #Internet #connection from Tata Indicom in Bangalore in 2006
But I could not afford it, My pocket money was 500 Rs those days, and I was living in rented accommodation in Bangalore, and the Bus pass itself was 450 Rupees. So naturally, I was over budget. However, during my school days, I had already seen the power of the internet, and I was hell-bent on taking an internet connection.
I worked as a Gym Accounts assistant in the evenings to earn that extra income to support my Internet connection (sounds laughable today). It was hectic initially, but it gave me the leverage to have 24x7 Internet connectivity at home.
Today when I look back, I am glad I took up that #challenge because that #internet #connection was the seed of #Innovation, and thats when #Biotecnika & #Rasayanika Began.

While others had full evenings to study, I used to get hardly 1 hour per day to study and then go back to college the next day and write the exam.
I hated it. But then Magic happened.
I realized that:
- when you have less time to study, you must innovate how you study.
- Network with friends and Mentors who can teach you shortcuts to study.
- We must work on our memory because how much we study doesnβt matter; how much we remember and are able to recall faster - that matters
- You have to push yourself to study at whatever time is available.
- If time is not available, squeeze time between meals, travel, bathing, cooking, cleaning, and whatever else
- When you are over your mental capacity, above your mental capacity, and Beyond your mental capacity, thats when your mental capacity expands
- it's natural to feel overwhelmed and upset when you feel you are not in control of your studies
- We must keep ourselves hydrated with Motivation and Inspiration.
Push, press, and Squeeze. then your work will be done in a breeze.
Ideate, innovate, create - But keep moving forward even if you move 1 cm forward.
Once I joined the Industry and got on to the #professional treadmill, I realized that every day is an exam, every day we have to achieve #targets, every day is a new #challenge, and every day we must ideate, innovate and create a plan to achieve.
You will always feel that you are above and beyond your mental capacity. But the truth is you are in process of growing your mental capacity and preparing yourself for a Bigger challenge.
I know many of you are writing or going to write an exam in the coming days, so my message to you all is: do not fall prey to your mindβs insecurities & vulnerabilities. Instead, pick your pieces and keep moving forward. Success will come your Way.
There are chances that you will feel fearful, afraid, and various mixed feelings. remember that You are here to leave a legacy, and this exam is just a stepping stone. Just another day, just another step. It does not decide your destiny, you decide your destiny.
What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? Be brave and embrace exams; results donβt matter, and Attempt matters!
Exams Don't decide your Destiny. YOU DO!

No, It's not just #Social Media, During Exam time, We also face a known #enemy.
It's our #Mental #Noise, It talks to us continuously and does not allow us to move forward.
It's important to acknowledge this, and it's perfectly normal to face this kind of Mental Noise, It's okay to face self-doubt, negative self-talk, and analysis paralysis, But it's not okay to suffer quietly, Speak out.
Bigger the #challenge, Louder the mental Noise
But you have to know this: You are stronger than the noise within
You can win any exam; all you need is Focus and be consistent.
Innovate & Create the best strategy to learn
Whenever this noise gets too much, Talk to me.
I am right here to support you.
As you get started with Sunday, Remember to Smile, Remember to pat your back, remember to praise your achievements. Remember to write 10 things that you are thankful for in your Gratitude Book.
You are #Awesome, Now let's make #Sunday #Wowsom
