2006 was an era when #Facebook had just started, #LinkedIn probably didn't exist in today’s form, and there were limited questions that you could ask #Google. The Only source of new information you had was your #professors or #seniors.

12th October 2006, I had coded my first webpage (7 days before my exams) and was #ecstatic about it. Next day when I reached #college and showed it to my senior. His reaction was: What’s this #nonsense? Focus on your studies. You have exams in 7 days, and your placement will be there after three years. Better #prepare for that.

I became sad and the next day again showed it to my professor; his reaction was: Shekhar, better publish a paper than publish a random webpage on the #Internet.

I took both the feedback but didn't give up on my #dreams; after many self debates with myself, I concluded that probably my senior or my teacher has no idea how big the internet will be in the future.

There was an email from #Google saying our Website was banned due to some spam activity. It was just three months after starting our beloved company, and our very own identity was banned. I knew little about all this in those days. I did not share that news with my co-founder for the next two days. I silently cried for this misfortune, cursed myself, Investigated, and found out that some Nigerian hacker had hacked our server and was injecting bad links and due to which our website was banned.

After three days of thorough investigation, I wrote to Google officials explaining that it was not us who had done it, that it wa

28th Feb 2008, I was at a #conference hosted by #Google Bengaluru and met one of the biggest #bloggers of those times, I was super excited to meet him finally, and I explained my idea. After listening to my idea, he said three words: “Don’t do it.” The rest you know is History!! The stubborn me was hell-bent on proving my odyssey right, and after that, I started studying successful people: from #Edison to #Dyson to Richard #Branson, everyone!!

Now, It's my hobby to read about extraordinary minds, and after thorough research, I found that Almost All Extra Ordinary people have the following things in Common.

- went through Dips and lows
- passed through immense Pain & Sorrow
- Controlled their environment
- chose which rules to follow and which rules to unfollow
- Questioned the stupid untold rules of society
- Created their own Paths
- Innovated their way to Success
- had a very high tolerance to pain
- bounced back quickly
- learned from the dips in life
- believed in what they were doing

But don’t you
