"Kashmiri Hindu is a dying identity. Yet we are the proud inheritors of a glorious culture that has been systematically destroyed over several centuries, and ultimately, a reminder of what may happen to you if you continue to live in denial."
A Kashmiri Hindu speaks about the conflict's theological underpinnings, the brutality against the Hindu minority, and the lessons that the rest of India can take away from it.

The brutal lynching of two Sadhus and their driver in Palghar, Maharashtra, three years ago was a tragic incident that was not given the attention it deserved in the mainstream media. The Sadhus belonged to Daśanāmi Juna Akhara, which is one of the oldest and most respected Akharas in India, founded by Adi Shankaracharya. The Akharas have played a vital role in Hindu society throughout history, acting as the bulwark against foreign invaders.
