MPA Announces Updated Standardfor Bunker Mass Flow Metering MPA stated that the implementation of the updated bunker mass flow metering standard would be mandatory from 1 April 2025.The SS 648: 2024 is divided into two parts for ease of operational use. Part one covers pre-approval processes such as meter selection, acceptance tests. Part two covers post-approval processes such as health, safety and environment requirements. In addition it covers metrological requirements, system integrity requirements and metering procedures.
