https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15855-seanchai-library-tuesday-june-25th-russell-in-the-glen-our-newbery-adventure-concludes/
"@ Noon: Russell Eponym, Live at The Glen!
Join us for Russell's weekly performance. Enjoy an hour of 100% live and unplugged acoustic music and spoken word. Russell presents original and traditional songs, instrumental pieces and covers, together with some selected stories and poems: Folk Baroque and Beyond.
@ 7pm: Caledonia concludes Dave Eggers' The Eyes & The Impossible.
Johannes, a free dog, lives in an urban park by the sea. His job is to be the Eyes—to see everything that happens within the park and report back to the park’s elders, three ancient Bison. His friends—a seagull, a raccoon, a squirrel, and a pelican—work with him as the Assistant Eyes, observing the humans and other animals who share the park and making sure the Equilibrium is in balance. The Gazette : The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to Adventurous Stamp Collecting
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15856-the-gazette-the-hitch-hikers-guide-to-adventurous-stamp-collecting/
"With nearly four hundred of our collectible stamps available on the grid, many collectors rush to complete their passports by using tools like the StampFinder (StaFi) or the Gazette Online Travel Guide (GOTG) to identify stamps and teleport rapidly from one location to the next. While efficient, this approach misses the beauty of exploring regions through walking, horse riding, driving, sailing, flying or taking a bus or train. These "old school" methods offer the joys of sightseeing and navigating unique landscapes and structures." Read more on the blog

Draxtor : Happy 21st Birthday Second Life
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15858-draxtor-happy-21st-birthday-second-life/
"I looked up “serendipity” on Wikipedia, just in case I was wrong but in fact the definition reads as per screenshot below:
And that’s what Second Life (to me at least) has in common with my other big love (not counting wife, son, dog), which is of course literature: the fact that both activities/offerings are essentially a form of unplanned fortunate discovery."

Sasy Scarborough : What is in a name – Content edition
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15863-sasy-scarborough-what-is-in-a-name-%E2%80%93-content-edition/
"If this is your first time to a Sasy Talk, then a bit about me. I have always worked in Second Life, behind the scenes for dozens of brands over the years, some publicly, some privately…it depended on the work and how involved it was. So when I see a thing, I often communicate said thing – this means that I have been IM’ing stores about this, but to most of them these days, I am some random person, saying some stuff, so I thought that it may make more sense in this format. Work aside, it also means that I often look at and use my inventory in a high octane way. It is big, not as big as it would be if I actually unpacked things…but big none the less. I also have multiple bodies, I am not a body changer on the fly type of person, I just happen to have a few. But I only recently – the last year or so, changed from my Slink bodies to eBody Reborn. I go back to Slink often, but when I am out shopping these days, I am buying items that include eBody Reborn in them, I also tend to make sure that what I am buying has at least one other body I own included, that way I am covered if I change."

Virtual Bloke : Initial thoughts on PBR in Second Life
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15862-virtual-bloke-initial-thoughts-on-pbr-in-second-life/
"As the world and its mother probably knows by now, the team at Firestorm have just released their long-awaited PBR viewer, and – having held off from joining the beta testing or trying the LL viewer – yesterday was my first chance to jump in and give it a shot. This post is going to be a bit of a ramble (and honestly, if a Skell post isn’t a ramble then is it even a Skell post at all?) and will feature my initial thoughts, some of the EEP testing that I’ve done (and the surprises that testing threw at me), and a few of the things that have crossed my mind in the lead-up to trying out PBR for myself." Tara Aers : SL21B SHOP&HOP: GIFTS REVIEW
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15870-tara-aers-sl21b-shophop-gifts-review/
"During my five years in SL, I waited every year for the biggest and most generous event: Birthday! And of course, the word "Gifts" had a special influence and magic. I exhaled, and like thousands of others, ran, ran, ran through all the sims, clicking boxes, faster, faster, to have time to fill my inventory with hundreds of items before closing, whether I needed them or not. Of course, I was the same as everyone else.
So far this year I took part as a designer with my handbags, making a joint collection "Zodiac" together with Arkona and Find the Fish. We have a place on Zinnia, welcome to visit, we have a very beautiful place with exclusive GIFTS"
