BMW unveils new electric i3 sedan with 900 km range
On 30 September 2026, BMW officially presented its new all-electric i3 sedan, built on the Neue Klasse platform, offering a range of up to 900 kilometers and a starting price of $61,500. 🔋🔥
The car is the first fully electric version of the famous 3 Series. It uses a new generation of cylindrical battery cells that pack 20 percent more energy than older models, giving you a much longer drive on a single charge.
You will be able to buy it in the US starting in the first quarter of 2027. The car also supports bidirectional charging, so you can use its battery to power your home appliances if your power goes out.
