OpenAI and Work Louder have launched the Codex Micro keyboard for $230. 🚀
This device is made to control autonomous AI agents—programs that perform tasks like writing code on their own. The keyboard includes a control dial and status lights that glow to show what the AI is doing right now. The first batch of these units sold out in under 24 hours.
Looking further ahead, OpenAI is working on a new screenless AI speaker. This device will be able to move and is expected to arrive in 2027.
For a regular user, this is a shift toward physical controls for software. Instead of clicking on a screen, you manage complex automated work with a dedicated knob and lights, making the invisible progress of AI agents feel tangible.
