A security flaw in Telegram enables malicious links using the tg://msg_url prefix to trigger automated spam. These deceptive prompts, often disguised as gifts, force an immediate message send that results in account bans.

Telegram-linked platform removes ID checks for purchases

🔄 The Telegram-linked platform Fragment stopped requiring identity verification for users buying Telegram Stars and Premium. The verification option and links to Sumsub vanished from the site, returning the purchasing process to its earlier open model without official comments.

The check was originally introduced in November 2024.
