In a scene that exposes the falsity of all claims, elements of terrorist factions affiliated with the so-called Ministry of Defense of the interim government, operating under the terrorist de facto authority, carried out mass arbitrary arrests targeting children, youth, women, and elderly civilians from the Kurdish community, based on a ready-made pretext accusing them of being “SDF PKK cells” or “remnants.”

These arrests were conducted under humiliating conditions that violate human dignity, amid deliberate media blackout in which pro-authority Arab media played the role of a silent accomplice, and even contributed to the dissemination of propaganda and false narratives—as previously witnessed in the Syrian coast, Suwayda, and other regions across Syria. This has enabled the continued perpetration of crimes in northeast Syria without accountability or deterrence.

In the same context, numerous documentations reveal a grim reality endured by all components of Syrian society at the hands of these terrorist factions. The violations include systematic verbal abuse and the deliberate humiliation of detainees through obscene and racist slurs, labeling them as “pigs,” “dogs,” “Qandilis,” “atheists,” and “infidels,” constituting open incitement directly targeting the Kurdish community.
