► Optimistic comments from US President Donald Trump, who stated that negotiations with Iran are continuing at a "rapid pace," combined with ongoing enthusiasm surrounding artificial intelligence, continue to support a positive market sentiment.

► Wall Street reached new all-time highs yesterday despite a temporary spike in oil prices caused by constantly changing geopolitical headlines following the escalation in the Middle East and Iran's temporary suspension of negotiations over Israel's push into Lebanon. Expectations for a potential US-Iran agreement remain volatile. As Trump continues to pressure Israel to avoid further escalation in Lebanon and instead move toward a ceasefire, the chances of US-Iran negotiations continuing have improved.

► At the same time, oil prices have given back part of yesterday's gains and are currently trading more than -1% lower today.

► Stocks - particularly in the technology sector - continue to trend higher. The tech-heavy Hang Seng was today's clear outperformer, closing +2.64% higher and moving closer to our TP ✅.

► We are getting back into Wall Street and buying the underperformance of the Dow Jones, which is currently being weighed down by profit taking in Microsoft following yesterday's strong gains. The Dow is currently trading around 500 points below yesterday's all-time high.

► Market breadth is not particularly strong at the moment, with gains still concentrated primarily in technology and semiconductor stocks. However, the recent rally has room to broaden out into additional sectors. Support also comes from the strong performance of Asian and European markets as well as lower yields in US pre-market trading (with the 10-year Treasury yield currently down nearly 5 basis points).

🔹 Alphabet (-2.6%) – is facing rotational pressure as investors currently prefer chip stocks over the hyperscalers that are driving demand for semiconductors. The biggest headwind, however, came from reports that Alphabet plans to sell $80 billion worth of stock, including a $10 billion investment by Berkshire Hathaway. In reality, this is not a fundamental headwind - if anything, it is positive, as Berkshire is further increasing its exposure to Alphabet. Additional pressure came from HSBC lowering its price target for GOOGL from $435 to $420 while still maintaining a "BUY" rating. Alphabet remains exceptionally well positioned to benefit from the AI boom and continues to be an attractive mid-term and long-term investment. We are tightening our TP and looking for a re-entry during early US trading.

► We are taking a very small position in MRVL, even though the stock is already set to open around +16.5% higher. However, we expect additional FOMO buying. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that Marvell could become the next trillion-dollar company. NVDA itself holds an investment in MRVL. In pre-market trading, MRVL was at times trading more than +22% higher. The stock had already closed around +7% higher yesterday. We are deliberately trading only a small position here, buying shortly after the opening and expecting explosive additional gains.

► NVDA was up more than +4% at one point today and helped push Wall Street to new record highs. The stock is now trading back below $225.00 as markets remain mixed and uncertainty surrounding US-Iran peace negotiations persists. Clear signs that Trump is working hard to keep negotiations alive, maintain a positive news flow, and present himself as a key figure in ending the conflict continue to support a cautiously positive market sentiment. At the same time, oil prices have fully recovered and are now trading higher for the day (up more than +1%), which is weighing somewhat on sentiment, particularly in Europe. The key point, however, is that the situation has become significantly less volatile. While escalations continue to occur, they remain relatively limited in intensity. Uncertainty therefore remains, but the overall situation appears relatively stable for now.

► Enthusiasm surrounding AI remains completely intact.

► We have seen several standout performers in the AI and data-center segment, including the absolute high-flyer Marvell, but also Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cisco, and several smaller semiconductor companies such as Microchip Technology and STMicroelectronics. AVGO, AMD, MU, ASML, LRCX, AMAT, TXN, and QCOM - all part of this year's exceptionally strong semiconductor sector - also continue to show very robust performance.

► We are getting back into NVDA here. NVDA has a significant investment in MRVL. MRVL is currently up around +30% (!) after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described the chipmaker as the "next trillion-dollar company" (current market capitalization after today's roughly +30% surge is about $250 billion).

► By the way, our Dow position already hit TP ✅📸 (I personally closed slightly higher), and our Hang Seng position also reached TP ✅📸. While the TP for the Hang Seng could arguably have been widened somewhat further, we are overall satisfied with closing the position after a long holding period. The extended holding period was also beneficial given the positive swap payments we received.

Our 🔽 success rate has slipped slightly but remains comfortably above the magical 90% mark. A flawless 3/3 session 💎 (SR = 100%) dropped out of the statistics and was replaced by a 3/4 session (SR = 75%) - meaning two trading days on which we opened an unusually small number of positions.

Additionally, we count the Hang Seng position as a LOST trade, even though for me personally it was one of the most profitable positions of the year thanks to several re-entries and, in particular, the positive swap payments. However, it is likely that some of you were stopped out via SL or ultimately closed the position at a loss, as our original entry was not a good one. As you know, we always evaluate our performance metrics very critically and only count trades as winners if they were clearly and significantly profitable - meaning that in cases of doubt, we always decide to our own "disadvantage".

Our GBP/USD 📸 and silver 📸 positions both hit their TPs ✅ during early Asian trading following renewed military strikes by both the US and Iran. US forces intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeting neighboring countries in the Middle East. At the same time, the US struck an Iranian command center.

Our silver TP was a bit too tight. In the end, the position could have been closed very profitably (I personally closed it with a very solid profit overall), but the trade was significantly off-profit at times earlier today (Tuesday) as the market once again became overly optimistic about potential progress in the ongoing peace talks and continues to fall for Trump's highly optimistic rhetoric that a deal is imminent and could be reached within the next few days.

While it may feel somewhat "unfair" to count the silver trade as a loss, I likely had a slightly better initial entry than some of our members and the position was significantly off-profit at various points. Therefore, we are classifying this trade as a "LOSS" as well. We remain committed to our strict standards when calculating our performance metrics.

Aside from that, we made a phenomenal NYSE opening trade with MRVL 📸 and captured the entire initial ~9% surge thanks to a perfect entry (after the stock had already opened more than +16% higher). Congratulations again on that spectacular trade 👏

With our two strong Dow Jones 📸 trades, we have now extended our winning streak in index trades to 14 consecutive winning trades (the last losing index position remains the Hang Seng - as we classify that trade as a loss). With the successful closing of our GBP/USD position, we have also won our last 13 FX trades in a row.

Overall, it was a very good day (highly profitable overall) - even though some positions could have been managed or closed better and our original entries, particularly in silver, were not ideal. ► Strong additional gains in tech and AI stocks have pushed the Nasdaq 100 (as well as the Nikkei) to new all-time highs (ATHs). The Nasdaq is currently trading near or at record levels roughly 90 minutes before the NYSE opening.

► European equities, meanwhile, are trading lower as oil prices continued to move higher. The backdrop is a new round of strikes by both sides in the Middle East, testing the fragile ceasefire between Washington and Tehran. US forces intercepted ballistic missiles and drones aimed at neighboring countries and responded by striking an Iranian command center.

► We see a market that is currently being driven almost entirely by AI enthusiasm - and it remains difficult to bet against that trend. Gains in semiconductor stocks, particularly MRVL (up another +12% today following yesterday's +32.5% surge), but also key chip names such as INTC, AMD, AVGO, ARM, as well as memory-chip companies including MU and SNDK, continue to attract buyers.

► However, we expect some profit taking to emerge today and see a good short-term SHORT entry in the Nasdaq near or at all-time highs ahead of the NYSE opening. While we generally expect the positive momentum to remain intact, the recent rally has pushed the Nasdaq 100 into short-term overbought territory. We are not bearish on Wall Street, but do expect healthy and limited waves of profit taking, with the Nasdaq trading at record highs while geopolitical tensions remain elevated and bond yields continue to move higher. International markets are already showing some weakness today.

► Traders continue to react positively to Trump's statements that Iran has "already agreed" not to pursue nuclear weapons. At the same time, he added that "Tehran could still change its mind" (in short, these statements contain very little concrete substance). Iran recognizes the difficult position Trump is in, as he is desperate to bring the conflict to an end as quickly as possible. This gives Tehran additional leverage in the negotiations.

🔹 Alphabet (0.0%) – continues to face some pressure from the announced $80 billion stock sale to finance its AI investments. The market is generally reacting too negatively to these elevated AI-related CAPEX commitments. GOOG/L is nevertheless opening roughly flat. Overall, we currently see a market driven by greed for further gains in AI and semiconductor stocks, while at the same time the risk of profit taking is increasing. GOOG/L remains reasonably valued and continues to deliver very solid growth. Our TP almost triggered yesterday - we are tightening it slightly.

🔹 Nvidia (-0.25%) – is opening slightly lower following yesterday’s profit taking, after the stock was up more than +4% at one point. Morgan Stanley continues to recommend an overweight position in NVDA and sees further upside potential. We are adjusting our TP ✅ slightly. Overall, we see enthusiasm for AI and semiconductor stocks remaining completely intact. Attention will also be on AVGO, which reports earnings after the close today.

► We are buying EUR weakness around the NYSE opening, as Wall Street’s outperformance combined with economic weakness in Europe continues to weigh on the euro. Uncertainty surrounding the Iran conflict and elevated energy prices are also pressuring the common currency. We see EUR/USD trading below the key 1.16000 level, but we are not buying EUR weakness against the USD - even though I expect buyers to emerge near that support level in the short term. Instead, we are buying EUR/JPY, with the JPY benefiting from signals that the Bank of Japan remains committed to further rate hikes despite inflation in Japan showing little sign of accelerating, even with higher energy prices.

► A potential easing in energy prices later today would likely support the EUR more than the JPY. The euro has also recently been pressured by concerns about another round of US tariffs on imports.

► We want to observe early NYSE trading before making additional moves in the equity market.

► We are very cautiously selling a small portion of the recent excess gains in the semiconductor sector and are choosing INTC, which is currently trading about +8% higher. We expect resistance in the 116.00 - 117.50 range.

► INTC has rebounded sharply today following its recent losing streak. The weakness had previously been intensified by news that NVDA is expanding further into the CPU market. The recent rally may make it difficult for INTC to avoid profit-taking pressure, especially as there are increasing signs that the market could become somewhat more cautious after the extreme AI enthusiasm that has pushed the Nasdaq 100 to multiple new all-time highs - including today.

► Wall Street is currently being driven almost entirely by sentiment or more accurately described: greed. Nevertheless, we see good reasons for the market to remain optimistic, as strong earnings and positive outlooks continue to support AI enthusiasm. The risk of additional profit taking, especially if rebound attempts fail, remains elevated.

► As expected, Wall Street experienced profit taking during early NYSE trading (partly already before the opening).

► As mentioned earlier, we wanted to actively trade these profit-taking waves - and we did so very successfully with our Nasdaq 100 SHORT. Overall, we are willing to turn LONG on Wall Street again and are buying the underperformance in small caps, with the Russell 2000 currently trading about -1.5% lower. However, we are not entering this trade overly aggressively.

► We have also seen profit taking in the recently very strong technology sector (although less pronounced in semiconductor stocks), but are already seeing signs of stabilization. At the same time, oil prices are easing somewhat after today's renewed surge.

Our Russell 2000 position almost reached TP. We are now seeing some mild profit taking, but still expect the Russell 2000 to make another push higher. Once the Russell 2000 touches 2904 again, we will set an in-profit SL. However, we do not want to be overly optimistic here - fundamentally, there are many signs pointing to further profit taking, partly due to the uncertain / fragile geopolitical environment.

We are also tightening the TP for INTC and looking for a timely exit, as we see the risk of buyers returning to the stock - a similar pattern is currently visible across other semiconductor names. That said, I would not be buying INTC here.
