Yet another perfect trading session (4/4;
There are no other updates regarding these positions, as all positions were already closed at the beginning of today's session. Only NVDA remained open. The stock had a mixed trading session today and came under some selling pressure toward the close as the market interpreted the latest Fed update as a shift toward a more hawkish policy stance.
That said, I still see upside potential from here. Fundamentals remain positive, and overall risk sentiment continues to be supported, particularly by the significant decline in oil prices.

We are currently trading the market exceptionally well and, above all, against the market "trend", while continuing to believe that we remain very well positioned overall. Another very strong trading session today with many excellent trades, entries and exits, and overall very solid profits.
Spectacular gold πΈ trading from us - even our optional gold trade is likely to reach TP (you can even widen the TP
We believe the market is wrong in selling off risk assets here and that investors - especially institutional investors - will quickly look past the Fed rate decision and the more hawkish dot plot.
This is exactly the scenario we anticipated - including elevated volatility and waves of profit taking that ultimately create attractive dip-buying opportunities.
In addition, we were able to close several positions from earlier in the week at a profit today (AVGO, DAL, INTC, DAX πΈ), allowing us to finish our Monday session with a perfect record - an 8/8 session (!)
Congratulations! Outstanding trading

βΊ Treasury yields are showing a mixed performance on Thursday as investors continue to digest Kevin Warshβs first meeting as Chair of the Federal Reserve. We are seeing significant gains in shorter-duration yields, with the 2-year Treasury up around 5 basis points and the 6-month yield up roughly 5.5 bps. Meanwhile, the 10-year yield is little changed and the 30-year yield is actually about 5 bps lower. This development suggests that the market is pricing in a more restrictive near-term outlook, including the possibility of a rate hike in September.
βΊ The Fed left the benchmark federal funds rate unchanged at 3.5%-3.75% yesterday. However, the dot plot indicates that many FOMC members do not view current monetary policy as sufficiently restrictive to sustainably combat inflation. In addition, the significantly shortened Fed statement removed several key phrases that had previously suggested a bias toward future rate cuts.
βΊ At the same time, Warsh chose not to provide his own rate forecast, further complicating the interpretation. Meanwhile, the US and Iran have signed their agreement, causing oil prices to fall further and move back toward pre-war levels.
βΊ Overall, we continue to see positive risk sentiment in the market.
βΊ The stronger USD continues to weigh on USD-denominated assets, including gold (our optional LONG position already hit TPβ
πΈ, although gold is now trading significantly lower), as well as other commodities and cryptocurrencies. We are buying BTC here and see increased buying below the $64,000 level and rebound potential as the overall market environment remains risk-on. At the same time, we are monitoring gold and silver for potential dip-buying opportunities, with gold currently appearing to have stronger support.

βΊ We are seeing yields on shorter-duration bonds cool significantly after the sharp gains recorded during Asian and European trading (as well as the US pre-market session). The US 2-year yield is now up only slightly more than 2 basis points after trading as much as 5.5 basis points higher earlier. Meanwhile, the US 10-year yield is now trading around 2 basis points lower.
βΊ Oil prices continue their sharp decline. WTI is down roughly 4.5%, while Brent is lower by around 4%.
βΊ At the same time, the USD is giving back part of its previous gains.
βΊ We are re-entering gold here as we see increasing support around the 4240 area. While silver has greater short-term rebound potential, it is also considerably more volatile and still appears vulnerable to some additional downside in the near term. We therefore prefer gold here and expect a rebound very soon.

π° VIP SIGNAL
LONG EARLY NYSE TRADING
TP
Recommended Entry Range
(TSM opened at 438.88 - but my entry is worse due to delayed opening)
πΉ Nasdaq 100 (+2.1%) - is trading sharply higher. Investors sold in panic following the Fed meeting and the market mispriced both the repositioning and the immediate implications for risk assets. We anticipated exactly this type of market behavior and viewed the profit taking during the high-volatility phase as temporary.
πΉ Russell 2000 (+1.5%) - suffered heavy losses following the rise in yields after the dot plot update, as investors reacted with panic to the prospect of higher interest rates in the coming months. We viewed the sharp decline as a buying opportunity. Since our TP is relatively wide and we are already double LONG (including our Nasdaq position), we are tightening the TP for now.
π TP
πΉ Nvidia (+1.7%) - is opening strongly but is underperforming other chip stocks. In particular, INTC (which we unfortunately closed one day too early) is trading significantly higher after the US chipmaker began production of its most advanced chip node, 18A-P, and moved closer to a potential agreement with Apple. Nevertheless, NVDA remains exceptionally well positioned for further gains and is an excellent investment across all time horizons.
πΉ Microsoft (+0.5%) - is opening slightly higher (just above 380) and attempting to recover from what has so far been a weak June. We are lowering our TP slightly.
π TP
βΊ We are currently heavily positioned on the LONG side of Wall Street, particularly through two index LONG positions.
βΊ We see the semiconductor sector opening very strongly, with 2026 high-flyers such as INTC, MRVL, AMD, LRCX and the major memory-chip manufacturers extending their already exceptional 2026 performance and outperformance. However, this extreme concentration also creates temporary but significant profit-taking risks.
βΊ We continue to see upside potential in TSMC, which is opening only around 1.6% higher despite being the most important actual chip manufacturer (foundry) and effectively sitting at the center of the AI boom and surging chip demand. For TSMC, the key issue is no longer demand but its ability to expand capacity, as current demand can only be described as virtually unlimited. We are buying immediately after the opening, taking advantage of its relative underperformance versus other semiconductor stocks.
TSMC (TSM): Multiply your your βstandard (EUR/USD)β position size by approx. 45 - 55 (4.500% - 5.500%) - 1/2 position size

βΊ We are also looking to re-enter gold here / soon and continue to see rising demand below 4250 (and below 66.50 in silver).
βΊ Bond yields continue to decline, with the US 2-year yield now trading around 2 basis points lower. The market interpreted yesterdayβs FOMC dot plot update as very hawkish. In addition, Warsh was convincing enough for investors to believe that the Fed remains firmly focused on bringing inflation down.
βΊ However, the primary driver behind the recent reacceleration in inflation is losing importance as oil prices continue to fall sharply. It will take time for this to feed through into consumer prices, but central banks are in reality currently in a wait-and-see phase. Developments surrounding Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and global oil supply will be key drivers of both the inflation and interest-rate outlook over the coming months.
βΊ We can re-enter gold near same levels as before (even a bit lower) and are working with a similar TP. Gold may still experience some additional short-term downside. Silver carries a greater risk of further profit-taking, but also offers greater rebound potential.

Silver carries a greater risk of further profit-taking, but also offers greater rebound potential.

βΊ Technology, AI, and semiconductor stocks surged once again today. Wall Street, and particularly the Nasdaq, posted strong gains driven by the AI and chip sectors.
βΊ MRVL is up around 13% (currently hovering around 326.50) and was earlier up more than 14%. Part of these gains appears to have been driven by FOMO buying, leaving the stock somewhat overheated in the short term with risk of profit taking.
βΊ Although the company remains one of the Nasdaq 100 stocks with the greatest upside potential for 2026, even from current levels, we expect some short-term cooling from here. In addition, Wall Street will be closed tomorrow for the Juneteenth holiday, which will encourage investors to become slightly more defensive.
βΊ We are therefore initiating a small short-term SHORT position here and expect a pullback of approximately 2β3%.

βΊ Although today is Thursday, we are already seeing typical Friday-style market behavior, with largely sideways trading and more cautious positioning ahead of the weekend. US markets will remain closed tomorrow in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
βΊ Earlier today, oil prices fell to their lowest levels in more than three months after the interim US-Iran peace deal signed yesterday officially came into effect. Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has resumed without restrictions after the US declared an end to its blockade. A complex negotiation phase regarding Tehranβs nuclear program is now beginning.
βΊ Oil prices came under additional pressure after US Vice President JD Vance stated that more than 12 million barrels had already passed through the Strait of Hormuz overnight.
βΊ However, concerns remain that Iran may eventually impose tolls on traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and that it could take several months before oil and LNG flows fully return to normal pre-war levels.
βΊ Nevertheless, we are selling the current rebound back toward flat territory and expect further losses in oil prices during the coming week.

As we also closed our Nasdaq 100 (+re-entry) πΈ in profit, we were able to finish Tuesday, following a perfect Monday, with a SA/SR = 100%
We also closed our optional gold trade πΈ from yesterday with a substantial profit, only to then watch gold decline sharply again and even fall below the lows seen immediately after the FOMC update. We are therefore tightening the TP
Apart from that, we saw a very concentrated / one-sided market today, with particularly strong gains in AI-related stocks. While we benefited significantly from Wall Streetβs strong performance, it also resulted in a rather mixed performance across many other asset classes. We could see further repositioning and repricing over the coming days, or even as soon as tomorrow.
I was a bit too greedy with the MRVL correction trade πΈ. However, I noticed that almost all of you managed to close near-perfectly at our original TP because my update came about one minute too late β congratulations on that as well! π
Overall, it was a strong day and an excellent week so far.

161.280 - 161.330
βΊ The USD/JPY pair is currently consolidating near multi-decade highs after persistent USD strength pushed the pair to 161.80 yesterday - just below the four-decade high reached at the end of June 2024.
βΊ In this area, the Bank of Japan is likely still preparing intervention measures, meaning sudden downside moves can occur at any time. Fundamentally, however, the JPY remains weakened, as Japanese interest rates and bond yields are still significantly lower than those of other major central banks despite the Bank of Japanβs rate hike earlier this week to 1.0% (from 0.75%). Nevertheless, this marks Japanβs highest interest-rate level since 1995.
βΊ Expectations of higher US interest rates have once again provided strong support for the USD and triggered heavy (over-)buying, despite the sharp decline in oil prices following the interim peace agreement between the United States and Iran.
βΊ By far the biggest risk to the current agreement is the fact that Israel does not accept the deal. The first official talks following the implementation of the agreement, which were scheduled to take place today in Switzerland, were canceled or at least postponed due to renewed clashes between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants. Iran insists on a ceasefire in Lebanon as part of the interim agreement, which Israel opposes, placing it on a direct collision course with the United States as well.
βΊ βFor every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep. All of Lebanon must burn!β wrote Israelβs far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on X. Israeli politicians are already in campaign mode ahead of the October elections.
βΊ We see a mixed picture in US bond yields. In particular, short-term maturities continue to rise as the market positions for potential future rate hikes.
βΊ We are going SHORT USD/JPY and expect to benefit from a likely intervention by the Bank of Japan. We already saw an intervention overnight that triggered a pullback in the currency pair. We expect additional measures and also see considerable resistance approaching the 162.000 area.
