Our 🔽 success rate over the rolling five-week period remains exceptionally high but has fallen below 85% for the first time since the 25-trading-day period of June 9 - July 15, 2026. This highlights once again absurdly high success rates we have maintained over the past ~4 months.

A flawless 7/7 session 💎 (SA/SR = 100%) rolled out of the calculation and was replaced by last Thursday's 5/6 session (SA/SR = 83.3%).

GOOGL's sharp losses and the broader correction have weighed heavily on Wall Street. AMZN and INTC also suffered steep declines following their earnings reports. Concerns are resurfacing that massive AI spending is leading to lower overall profitability and declining free cash flow (FCF). Losses are concentrated in AI infrastructure stocks and companies with particularly high AI spending. AAPL, long viewed as a laggard in the AI race because of its more conservative approach, increasingly appears to be the big winner: its shares extended their gains while AI hyperscalers suffered steep losses. The Nasdaq 100 lost now all of it's gains from this week - we expect more support around/below 28700 (28850 Dec Future).

The overview / performance of the past 5 days is very impressive. Also today we made a lot of good decisions / trades in a very difficult and swingy market. Congrats 👏

Another AI spending scare pulled now tech stocks again lower overnight just a day after Alphabet lost $500 billion in value - more than ever before in it's history. AMZN and INTC fell sharply after disappointing earnings pulling the AI sector including hyperscalers (except AAPL & META) lower. Losses, however, are very concentrated in the "AI trade" with all other sectors trading positively. We can make a small re-entry in the Nasdaq 100 (🔼 28620 - 28710; or 28790 - 28880 for Dec Fut.) and pull our TP ✅ significantly lower.

Once again we made a beautiful NYSE opening trade - going SHORT in MU 📸 just one day after we made three successful LONGs. There was even significant more short-term reversal movement - also for AMD 📸. We also traded outside tech and sold the overgains in LLY 📸 very well. My AAPL 📸 closed in pre-market - it may have closed higher for you at the start of NYSE opening with AAPL opening well above my closing price. I closed half of my GOOGL 📸 position in pre-market- if you are still LONG we will close in the next mini-rebound.

We pull our TPs ✅ for silver & gold tighter, as well as for our GBP/USD which moved off-profit again after we initially found a very good entry. We see gold in a good sentiment environment and attractive in all time frames.

South Korea’s Kospi, which is heavily weighted toward AI / chip stocks, is now trading above its opening level and slightly more than 150 points above its lows - an actually substantial move for the Kospi. This also shows that investors have not gone into full panic mode (at least not yet).

► What began as an earnings-driven sell-off in GOOGL has intensified. The market is now undertaking a more fundamental reassessment of AI valuations. We are seeing sector rotation and significant overall capital outflows. Risk-off sentiment intensified further after Binance disclosed a major security incident with an estimated impact of $6.3 billion. The precise losses and amounts recovered are still being investigated. It would be by far the biggest crypto heist of all time. The trail leads to North Korea’s capital, Pyongyang, or specifically to the elite hacker “TraderTraitor.” The previous record was the Bybit hack in February 2025, when nearly $1.5 billion was stolen.

► We are seeing high volatility. After an initial recovery attempt, weakness in Europe pulled stock markets lower again.

► The sell-off has already gone far, but it could extend further in the short term when New York opens. This is also a Friday session, making a strong rebound much harder.

► Additionally, oil prices have risen as we expected.

► The BoJ left rates unchanged at 1.25%, but raised its inflation forecast and signaled that further tightening remains possible. The decision passed 8-1, with one member favoring an immediate hike. USD/JPY fell further but has now found some support near 157.000 - where we are entering.

► We expect the USD to find support and recover some of its losses heading into the weekend. Our GBP/USD position is also at a loss. I expect resistance near / above 🔽 1.34300. You can make a small re-entry here.

► The sell-off also hit precious metals, which fell further. Silver was particularly affected in its role as an industrial metal. Gold will try to push back above $4,000 and should benefit from some safe-haven buying, but continues to face selling pressure. We expect silver to find buyers below the particularly important $50.00 level. However, we are adjusting our TP. Gold currently still has substantial buy orders in the 3940 - 3950 range = 2026 lows.

🔹 Nasdaq 100 (-2.4%) - fell sharply following another round of earnings reports. These intensified doubts about whether massive AI spending will deliver the necessary growth in earnings and profitability. AMZN reported negative free cash flow but maintained its forecast for $220 billion in capital expenditures in 2026. INTC lost more than 25% (!) after issuing a surprisingly weak outlook for the current quarter and pointing to a slowdown in its PC business. This also highlighted that PC chips remain important for INTC. The chip giant is not yet where the market wants Intel to be.

🔹 Alphabet (-0.7%) - suffered its sharp losses on Thursday, or in Wednesday’s after-hours trading. If you still hold a LONG position, we are looking for an exit. GOOGL is finding support. Negative free cash flow at Amazon and META makes GOOGL’s own earnings report look somewhat less unfavorable.

🔹 Nvidia (-2.3%) - is falling alongside other chip stocks following INTC’s very disappointing earnings report. Some chip stocks generally viewed as more direct competitors to INTC, such as AMD, plunged in sympathy with INTC. We sold a rebound attempt in AMD yesterday, but the stock will open more than 10% below our triggered TP. The losses have gone far but could extend further for some chip stocks. NVDA is among the most resilient and continues to benefit from investment banks sticking with the stock. Raymond James goes even further, rating NVDA a “STRONG BUY” and urging investors to get in.

► Although Wall Street is trading in the red, most sectors are positive - some significantly so. In the more defensive Dow, for example, 21 of its 30 components are trading in the green in late pre-market trading. The Dow is therefore nearly unchanged.

► We are buying a small position in AMD. The stock has been dragged lower alongside INTC, but in my view, the losses are excessive: AMD is opening around 10% lower after already losing more than 2% on Thursday. We see a concentration of buy orders around $500.00, or in the $500.00 - $508.00 range. Further selling could, of course, trigger these orders before the stock stabilizes. We are taking advantage of volatility at the NYSE open.

► We are also buying the dip in AAPL and expect the stock to benefit from current market sentiment. Shortly before the NYSE open, AAPL is trading around 345.00 - slightly more than 1% below yesterday’s level. Some headwinds came from Bank of America removing Apple from its US1 list ahead of Monday’s after-hours earnings report, although BofA remains optimistic about AAPL. We are also taking advantage of increased volatility in AAPL (= “high” volatility by AAPL’s standards).

► Better-than-expected Eurozone GDP growth data - in reality debt-financed - and high inflation figures are giving the EUR a boost. Inflation in Italy was particularly surprising and elevated at 5.4% YoY versus 4.6% expected. In Germany, however, inflation came in surprisingly “low” at 2.8% year over year (YoY), compared with expectations of 3.0%.

► EUR/USD is now trading nearly flat again. We expect some USD gains toward the end of the session.

► Our USD/JPY position has already hit TP ✅📸. GBP/USD met resistance near / above the expected level (1.34300) - exactly as we anticipated.

► We are seeing lower yields in both the Eurozone and the US. US yields remain well above German levels and broadly in line with those on French government bonds.

► AMD is sharply lower - currently down more than 13%, after an already weak performance on Thursday (-2%). Intel’s warning about weakening PC demand and its overall unimpressive outlook are weighing heavily on the chip sector, particularly AMD. INTC also warned about expensive memory and generally weaker demand.

► AMD’s AI data-center business - which is crucial for AMD - is fundamentally different from Intel’s troubled PC and manufacturing operations. Intel’s latest results therefore do not directly establish that demand for AMD’s AI accelerators is weakening. PCs account for more than half of Intel’s expected revenue, compared with around 30% for AMD - and that share is declining.

► We are now seeing some divergence between INTC and AMD: AMD is making lower lows, while INTC is trying to stabilize. However, we expect some further selling in INTC.

► The losses are particularly severe because this is a Friday session. Concerns about worsening geopolitical tensions over the weekend are adding to the selling pressure. The IRGC Navy said three “violating” oil tankers exploded and caught fire after striking mines on an “unauthorized” southern route.

► The VIX, often called the fear index, is at its highest level in almost four months. The heavy sell-off is partly driven by elevated market volatility. AMD’s sharp losses are, of course, primarily sentiment-driven.

Incredible timing with AMD. We bought at the absolute session low. A magical trade.

Earlier, we closed our AMD NYSE opening trade in profit. I accidentally traded that one with a slightly undersized position.
We are setting an SL 🔑 and a tighter TP ✅.

The TP will not trigger anymore anyway. However, a weak opening on Monday could still result in the position closing at a loss.

Our 🔽 success rate slipped slightly further to a still very high 83.1%, as a flawless 6/6 session 💎 (SA/SR = 100%) rolled out of our five-week calculation and was replaced by last Friday's 3/4 session (SA/SR = 75%). We also have GOOGL as losing trade. If you are still LONG or bought the sharp dip, close the position in the coming week - I will continue to update.

We significantly reduced our exposure this week - a very positive development - although we could have secured better exits on some positions, particularly SKHY. However, SKHY also gave back most of its exceptional gains from the previous session today amid heavy profit-taking across the chip / AI infrastructure sector. NVDA closed 4% lower, while the Nasdaq fell nearly 2.9%.

It was a weak session for gold, with markets still seeing little scope for rate cuts and expecting rates to remain elevated for longer. Silver came under even greater pressure as expectations of substantially weaker industrial demand weighed on prices. However, we see substantial upside potential in November.

It was an exceptionally good week for us, particularly considering the sharp market swings. Our approach of closing slightly earlier worked well - we will continue with tighter position / risk management in early November.

Today, we closed all our positions intraday and focused on contrarian trades. As always, very strong NYSE opening trades - although we could have managed the exits better. Our AMD position 📸 missed TP by less than 0.05% - unfortunate. I traded the first AMD position with a slightly undersized position. On one of the worst days in AMD’s history, we made two successful LONG trades - quite extraordinary. There was also AAPL 📸. November has been a very strong month for us in recent years and is generally considered a strong month for risk assets.

Panic selling in precious metals weighed on our portfolio - we are looking for exits in the coming week.
We finished today’s session with two perfect dip buys: AMD#2 📸 and our Dow 📸.

► The DAX initially edged higher in European trading, supported by a sharp decline in oil prices. This followed a report that US President Donald Trump wants to give diplomacy with Iran more time, easing concerns about further disruptions to energy supplies or escalations this week. Brent fell more than 4%, while WTI is currently trading almost 4.5% lower. There were also no further escalations in the Persian Gulf over the weekend.

► A significantly stronger EUR against the USD - also a consequence of lower oil prices - weighed on the DAX. However, lower oil prices themselves provide strong support for the DAX, allowing us to take advantage of this effect.

► Weak German retail sales also weighed: They fell sharply by 2% month over month, compared with expectations of a 0.4% increase. Manufacturing PMIs, however, remain significantly higher and rose strongly, although they merely confirmed the preliminary readings.

► Lower oil prices are also giving global risk sentiment a substantial boost. However, investors remain generally cautious ahead of the US midterm elections and following mixed earnings from major AI companies - although the latter are less significant for Europe.

► We are buying the DAX here in slightly negative territory (-0.1%) - near / slightly below 25800.
