CCS clears Rs 40,000 crore next-gen corvettes for Indian Navy; mega warship order for GRSE, Goa Shipyards

The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved a project to build eight next-generation corvettes for the Indian Navy in a contract exceeding Rs 40,000 crore.

Senior government officials stated that the contract will be signed in the coming days with Garden Reach Shipbuilders, Kolkata, and Goa Shipyard Limited

CBSE brings Changes in Students Curriculum from 2028 Batch Students.

Students will study nine subjects: three languages (R1, R2 & R3) , Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Art Education, Physical Education and Well-being, and Vocational Education (Compulsory)

Students can also Choose 1 Optional Subject from the list of 57 Subjects (Computer Applications, Advance Mathematics or Advance Science ,Painting, Music etc)

R1 & R2, Science, Maths & Social Science will have Board Exams. Students opting for Additional Subject will have to give Board Exam for the selected paper.

R3, Art Education and Physical Education and Well-being will be assessed internally, and students will be award Grades only

If a Students Fails in R1 or R2 it can be replaced by the R3 Language Subject.

If a Student Fails in Science, Maths or Social Science it can be replaced in the Mark Sheet with the Optical Subject.

Vocational Education is Compulsory and Students must opt for Either Kaushal Vikas or from the list of 22 Subjects been provided for eg. Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Retail, Healthcare, Banking and Insurance, Tourism, Agriculture, Design Thinking and Innovation, and Automotive.

Successful Students in Vocational Education will also be provided with a NSQF certificate.
