Much maligned Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka returned to team training today after missing the WSG Tirol friendly due a minor pelvic injury. While the 29-year-old made his return, striker Harry Kane was given the day off. Kane played the first half against WSG Tirol on Tuesday, scoring a goal and giving his squad a 1-0 lead: Leon #Goretzka ist zurück im Team-Training. Wird er nicht rechtzeitig fit, könnte Josip #Stanisic im Pokal in der Startelf stehen. #FCBayern— Michel Schröer (@MichelSchroeer) August 14, 2024Sacha #Boey is still missing from team training. If he is not fit in time, Josip #Stanisic could be in the starting eleven in the cup. #FCBayernAbendzeitung’s Victor Catalina reiterated that Boey has not been given any injury designation by the club at this point: Offiziell ist keine Verletzung bei Sacha Boey kommuniziert. Der Franzose trainierte in den letzten Tagen immer wieder mal individuell. Wenn es nicht für Ulm reicht wäre Josip Stanisic, der in der Vorbereitung überzeugen konnte, erster Ersatz. Upa/Minjae dann innen. #FCBayern https://t.co/bevLcjeBJx— Victor Catalina (@vcatalina96) August 14, 2024Sacha Boey has not been officially injured. The Frenchman has been training individually over the last few days. If he is not good enough for Ulm, Josip Stanisic, who impressed in the pre-season, would be the first substitute. Upa/Minjae would then be inside. #FCBayernThere was no update released for Leroy Sané and Tarek Buchmann, who have not been participating in team training as of yet.
