The Evening Standard reports that “<a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/la-liga/teams/barcelona">Barcelona</a> will consider bids of around €80 million for former <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/epl/teams/liverpool">Liverpool</a> midfielder <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/epl/players/164129/philippe-coutinho">Philippe Coutinho</a> this summer.” That is a full €40 million less than the purchase option included in his loan contract at Bayern, but Bayern is not interested in signing the Brazilian after a lukewarm trial year.On top of that news, Italian journalist Nicolò Schira reports that Chelsea is already engaged in talks with Coutinho’s agent.<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chelsea?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chelsea</a> are in talks to sign Alex <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Telles?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Telles</a> (Porto want €40M) and <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Coutinho?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Coutinho</a> (also Tottenham are interested in him). The good relationship with their agents Pini Zahavi and Kia Joorabchian could help <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Blues?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Blues</a> to finalize the deal. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/transfers?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#transfers</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/CFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#CFC</a>— Nicolò Schira (@NicoSchira) <a href="https://twitter.com/NicoSchira/status/1245491154243792899?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 1, 2020</a>But Chelsea is not the only Premier League club interested in Coutinho. Besides the Blues, <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/epl/teams/leicester-city">Leicester City</a>, <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/epl/teams/arsenal">Arsenal</a>, <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/epl/teams/tottenham-hotspur">Tottenham Hotspur</a>, and <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/epl/teams/manchester-united">Manchester United</a> are all interested in the Brazilian. Barca will not accept a second loan, but only a sale, so they can finance their own target transfers, <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/serie-a/teams/inter-milan">Inter Milan</a>’s Lautaro Martínez and, of course, Neymar from PSG.<a href="https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/bundesliga/teams/bayern-munich">Bayern Munich</a> ... back in training on Monday? The players would train in four groups of four and one group of five.Is this safe? Maybe. Is this necessary? Not really.
