I just read a rather brilliant observation that I know all of you will appreciate:

“This whole "Belgorod epic" is just great and beautiful trolling.
(It's surprising that the public doesn't notice).

Ukraine is currently repeating with pinpoint accuracy all the actions taken by Russia in the ‘Donbas power grab” of 2014. On the dot.

It’s no coincidence that there are "no Ukrainian troops” there. The Belgorod region is being taken by some "shady" Russian volunteers who "bought a tank in a military warehouse."

Zelensky and Zaluzhny are “astonished” and “have nothing to do with what is happening.”

All of it is completed with “we are not there”: the locals are shooting each other, and the Russian volunteers are there to simply “keep the order” so that Belgorod residents do not become too cannibalistic.

And even if they are not keeping order, then excuse me, you have the usual “civil war” there, and Kyiv has nothing to do with it at all.

Probably, the volunteers will first bite into a couple of towns, and then gently “crush” the entire region, since it is defenseless.

In short, all of it down to the little nuances is a repetition of 2014.”
