The number isn’t that surprising when you consider Iran’s drone production capabilities and inventory. It’s unlikely all will be delivered soon but this is likely a long-term deal over the next year or two with a few hundred each month in order to keep up the pace of strikes https://t.co/0WBEaKpJBZ

RT @aidefranceukr: “The Ministry of the Armed Forces wants to turn to civilian industry to manufacture weapons, as long as they can be ‘mass-produced quickly’. The car industry has been asked to produce ‘kamikaze drones’ similar to those used in Ukraine. These would be long-range loitering munitions- over 100 kilometres. According to the Defence Procurement and Technology Agency (@DGA), which is steering this project at the Ministry, the aim would be to deliver ‘several thousand loitering munitions in a few months’.” — @jdomerchet
Moreover, according to the general delegate of the @DGA, France “has innovative ideas for the production of [low-cost] surface-to-air missiles.“

RT @TTheBattlefield: 🇺🇦🇷🇺 BREAKING: Ukraine Strikes 'Iskander' Missile Plant Deep Inside Russia
‼️Ukrainian forces have reportedly launched a major drone strike against a critical Russian defense facility in the Udmurt Republic, responsible for manufacturing Iskander ballistic missiles.
🔍 Key Details of the Attack:
🔻The Target: A key military-industrial plant in Udmurtia, located deep inside Russian territory, known for producing the deadly Iskander missile systems.
🔻Visual Evidence: Photos and videos of the fiery aftermath and secondary explosions are widely circulating across Ukrainian Telegram channels.
Wider Offensive: Simultaneously, massive drone swarms are reportedly targeting the annexed Crimean peninsula and several other Russian regions in a highly coordinated wave.
💡 Why it matters (Zero-Click Context): Striking an Iskander production facility in Udmurtia (over 1,000 km from the Ukrainian border) is a massive demonstration of Kyiv's rapidly expanding long-range drone capabilities. This is a direct, strategic hit on Russia's ability to replenish the exact ballistic missiles it uses to devastate Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure.
👇 Does this deep-strike capability prove Ukraine can effectively cripple the Russian war machine from within, or will Moscow just relocate its critical factories further east? Let's debate in the replies.

RT @TTheBattlefield: 🇺🇦🇷🇺 UKRAINE'S NEW WEAPON: Domestic 'Flamingo' Cruise Missiles Strike Deep Inside Russia
‼️The Ukrainian General Staff has officially confirmed a massive strategic milestone: a deep-strike operation utilizing their own domestically produced FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles against one of Russia's most critical military-industrial complexes.
🔍 Key Details of the Operation:
🔻The Primary Target: The Votkinsk Machine Building Plant in the Udmurt Republic. This facility is the absolute heart of Russia's strategic forces, producing RS-24 Yars ICBMs, Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, and Bulava submarine-launched missiles.
🔻The Teaser: The day before the strike, Denis Shtilerman, co-owner of 'Firepoint' (the company manufacturing the Flamingo), posted a launch video captioned: "Without context, context later." Following the strike, he shared the General Staff's report: "And here is the context."
🔻Wider Campaign: Simultaneously, Ukrainian forces struck oil reserves, drone factories, and depots in occupied territories, alongside a successful hit on a gas processing plant in Russia's Samara region.
💡 Why it matters (Zero-Click Context): Striking a facility over 1,000 kilometers away that manufactures Russia's nuclear-capable ICBMs and hypersonic weapons with a domestically produced cruise missile changes everything. It proves Kyiv is no longer constrained by the strict targeting limitations placed on Western-supplied long-range weapons (like ATACMS or Storm Shadow). Ukraine can now systematically dismantle Russia's ultimate military capabilities on its own terms.
👇 Does the successful deployment of domestic cruise missiles against Russia's strategic nuclear factories fundamentally change the trajectory of this war? Let's discuss in the replies.

RT @HM_Int3lligence: Ukraine's defence minister announced that the first air defence unit formed by a Ukrainian industrial enterprise has begun combat operations, with 13 more units currently being established at other companies. The Ukrainian government authorised energy, communications and transport firms to purchase and operate air defence equipment last year, with the goal of strengthening the country's ability to counter Russian air attacks. The units are staffed by the companies' own employees, operate under Air Force coordination and are fully integrated into Ukraine's broader air defence network. Several enemy drones, including Shahed and Zala models, have already been shot down in the Kharkiv region.
Russia continues to launch hundreds of drones daily against Ukrainian industrial and energy infrastructure, with 164 drones fired at Ukraine in the most recent overnight attack, 150 of which were intercepted. Minister Mykhailo Fedorov described the industrial air defence programme as a system-level solution that allows Ukraine to rapidly expand its air defence capabilities without adding pressure to frontline military units. The units are at varying stages of readiness, with some already conducting combat missions and others still completing training. Fedorov did not identify which companies are participating in the programme.
Source: Reuters, AFP
So What
Ukraine's expansion of indigenous air defence capabilities represents a significant step forward, both in terms of protecting its own critical infrastructure and in developing exportable knowledge and equipment for other countries facing similar drone threats. As Ukraine's ability to secure its rear echelons improves, it will likely allow key assets to be repositioned closer to the Forward Line of Troops, which could in turn strengthen Ukraine's capacity to conduct counter-attacks against Russian forces.
