‍ ⚫️ #Abbas showed his #loyalty to #Hussain at the Battle of #Karbala.

#Abbas_ibn_Ali was the son of Ali ibn Abu Talib and Ummul Baneen.
In reality in Karbala Hazrat Abbas’ effort to satisfy ✨God✨ and carry out his duty, astonished the world.
In Karbala Yazid’s troops cut the water supply to the Imam’s camp.
When the young children could no longer tolerate thirst, Hazrat Abbas volunteered to bring them water. But this was almost impossible.
With his courage, he drove away hordes of enemies and reached the banks of the River Euphrates. Although he was thirsty himself, he never drank a drop of water.
After filling the goatskin water-carrier, while he was making his way towards the Imam’s camp , the cowardly enemy attacked him from all sides. One of his hands was severed when he was struck from behind.
He fought single-handedly with his left arm, which was also severed by the Omayyud marauders. Nevertheless, he spurred his horse towards the Imam’s camp hoping to take water to the thirsty children. Alas, he was not destined to do so. The enemies burst upon him like a pack of jackals and shot arrows in his eye and at his chest piercing the goatskin water-carrier and making the water flow on the ground.
Hazrat Abbas thus drank the cup of eternal martyrdom in this valiant name and the memory of this great sacrifice will remain eternal in history.
In 10th muharam even many non-Muslims bow at the threshold of
Hazrat Abbas in Karbala and beseech ✨God✨ Almighty through him.

‍ 💔Welcome to holy month of Muharram. The month in which prophet #Muhammad 's grandson Imam Hussain got martyred by Yazid the tyrant of the time.

💔Yazid was a cruel and corrupted man who knew nothing about Islam and intended to establish a monarchy under the name of #Islam. He asked for #Imam Hussain's oath of allegiance in order to obtain reputation in society. Imam Hussain refused to do so for the sake of Islam. So Yazid equipped his army to kill Imam Hussain. His army besieged #Hussain and his family members in #Karbala #desert in #Iraq .Yazid's army didn't let them drink water for 3 days. But Hussain, his beloved brother #Abbas and his companions didn't surrender and kept fighting while they were thirsty. They were all martyred but their resistance disclosed the real face of Yazid and defeated him finally.

💔We still mourn and commemorate them after 1400 years. because Imam Hussain and his 72 companions were brave men who fought evil for #justice .Brave men belong to all times and all ages. May #God bless them.

💠The caravan of #Hussain (a.s.) arrives in #Karbala, the land of hardship. Upon this arrival, there is an #Abbas to help #Zaynab dismount and an #Ali_Akbar to defend the tents. But an eye disciplined by Quranic principles knows too well that there is beauty in the turmoil preceding truth.

🔷 In the coming days, we witness the unveiling of personalities who were lost in the crowds until the test of times distinguished them. Perhaps, time is only relevant to the living and only the living can appreciate beauty. Because only the living can die and death, in appropriate context, is sweeter than honey. So then, is living the same as existing?

💠 We ask Allah to open our hearts to the #wisdom of the #Quran and instill in us a true understanding of the tragedy of #Karbala, or rather, the beauty in Karbala.

💠 During the time in 1980 when we formed the State Defense Committee, and after that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Isfahan, his excellency, Babaee was an officer of the eighth reconnaissance base in Isfahan, and was later on appointed commander of that base. In that circle, I, as Commander of Military Operations in the province of Isfahan, had established a close and heartfelt relationship with him in a way that we formed a complete understanding about one another.

🌹 This understanding and close relationship that happened early on in the Revolution, through the time of the Holy Defense when we were both at the warfront, lead us to fully understand each other. Babaee was a soldier, with the morale of a soldier. He was no different from the soldiers or the guardsman. Whoever saw him from up close couldn't imagine that he was a pilot. His behavior, character, and the clothes he wore made him resemble a soldier or guardsman much more.

💠 My coworkers in the army and I, because of his behavior, actions, sincerity, and love for Imam Khomeini, also saw Babaee as a soldier. He was an outstanding example of a leader of a Hezbollahi army. He visited the headquarters base often. Most of the time, his hair was buzz cut and he wore a simple, earth-colored soldier uniform.

🌹 Very contently, he would sleep or rest on the floor. Like everyone else, he ate the simple foods at the headquarters. Whenever he would come to the headquarters, he would act in such a way that, if someone didn't know him, they would never find out that he was the Commander of Air Force Military Operations. He appeared much more like a soldier.
💠Sometimes, when we would read Ziarat-e-Ashura at the headquarters base, Babaee would read some parts of the Ziarat and start crying. Truly, this leader of Islam's army was in love with Imam Hussein (a.s.).
