On that Day, the believers will be granted the power of intercession. A person will come to a believer and say, ‘Intercede for me!’ The believer will ask, ‘What right do you have over me?’ He will say, ‘One day I gave you water to drink,’ and so the believer will intercede for him and it will be accepted. Another will say, ‘You once found shade by my wall during the heat,’ and again the believer will intercede and it will be granted. This will continue until the believer intercedes for relatives, neighbors, and acquaintances. 🔸 In the era of the Reappearance, the peak of these “degrees,” “forgiveness,” and “mercy” will unfold with the advent of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) and his universal reign of justice.
🔸 Then, the true believers—those who stood firm on the path of Wilayah through hardships—will be granted lofty ranks and boundless mercy.
🔸 The companions of the Imam themselves will be intercessors for others; whoever offered even the smallest help to the cause of truth will find intercession under the banner of Mahdawi justice.

✔️ Allah bestows degrees, forgiveness, and mercy through the channel of Ahl al-Bayt’s Wilayah.
✔️ In the culture of Awaiting (Intidhar), even the smallest step on the righteous path is preserved before Allah and its reward appears in both this world and the Hereafter.
✔️ To be Shi‘a means to “live in hope of endless mercy” and “never let go of the hand of Wilayah” until we reach forgiveness and intercession.

The story of Ali Mohammad Bab is a crucial lesson in the history of religious deviation in Iran. He was a young merchant from Shiraz who, in 1844 AD, first claimed to be the "Bab" (gate) to the Hidden Imam (Imam Mahdi). His initial call was for people to prepare for the Imam's appearance.

1. Early Stage (1844-1848): He called people to support the Hidden Imam through him as a "gate." His writings were presented as divinely revealed through the Imam.

This final claim was a direct contradiction of core Islamic beliefs, including the finality of Prophethood (Khatamiyat) with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Naturally, many of his early followers, who saw him only as a gate to the Imam, left him at this point. Others, however, accepted his new doctrine and abandoned Islam.

The Babi uprisings led to significant unrest and battles in places like Mazandaran, Zanjan, and Nayriz. Mirza Taqi Khan Amir Kabir, the powerful Chancellor of the Qajar era, viewed the Babis as a serious threat to the stability and security of the country. According to the linked source, he took decisive action to suppress them, ultimately ordering the execution of Ali Mohammad Bab, which was carried out on this very day in 1850 in Tabriz.

Amir Kabir's firm stance is historically recognized as having prevented a major attempt to overthrow the Qajar government and establish a new rule based on the Babi's own book, the "Bayan."

⛓ The Aftermath: Schism and a New Path

After the Bab's death, his followers split.
