The Nuremberg Military Tribunal, often portrayed as the pinnacle of post-war justice, remains one of the most controversial chapters in modern legal history. While mainstream narratives glorify the trials, many prominent figures—including U.S. Senator Robert Taft, President John F. Kennedy, General George S. Patton, and even U.S. judges themselves—voiced deep concerns about the legitimacy and fairness of these proceedings.

Taft, a respected Republican from Ohio, condemned the Nuremberg Trials as fundamentally unjust. He warned:
