🍃 The late Ayatollah Mujtahidi:
✅ There are two things that annihilate sins:
1- Illness:
💠 Imam Ali (peace be upon him) once addressed one of his companions who had fallen ill and said:
"Allah has made your illness a means of diminishing your sins. A person who suffers from fever is atoning for his sins. Do not distress over being sick, do not complain. The benefit of falling ill is that it destroys sins. By complaining and lamenting, you diminish its reward and merit."
2- Prostration:
💠 It is narrated that when a person prostrates and remains in prostration for a while, glorifying God, it is said that prostration sheds sins, just as the wind in autumn blows away the leaves of a tree.

✍ The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) in an instruction to Salman the Persian said: "O Salman! If you fall ill, there are three benefits in your illness:
It reminds you of the Blessed and Exalted God;
Your supplications in this state are accepted;
Illness does not leave any sin upon you except that it expels it."

🔅The son of the late Sheikh Nokhodaki recounts: About two years before my father's passing (Haj Sheikh Hasan Ali Esfahani Nokhodaki), I fell gravely ill, and doctors were unable to cure my #illness, losing all hope for my survival.
◀️ Seeing the helplessness of the physicians, my father placed a small amount of the sacred soil from the tomb of Imam Hussain (may the souls of all worlds be sacrificed for him) into my mouth and stepped away from my bedside.
✅ In that state of unconsciousness, I saw myself ascending through the skies, accompanied by a figure radiating a bright white light.
⬅️ As we soared higher, another figure approached us from above and said to the luminous companion, "It is commanded that the soul of this person be returned to his body because he sought healing through the sacred soil of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)."
❤️ It was then that I realized I had died, and my soul was ascending to the heavens. However, the two radiant figures guided me back to Earth, and I regained consciousness.
✅ To my amazement, I found that there was no trace of illness left in me, though everyone around me was deeply distressed and anxious.
