✨Laylat al-Mabīt (Arabic: لیلة المبیت, the night of sleeping) is the title of the #night in which the #Prophet_Muhammad(s) #emigrated from #Mecca to #Medina, and because of the decision of #Quraysh to #assassinate the Prophet (s), #Imam_Ali (a) #slept in prophet's #bed, so the assassins will not notice his absence. The verse #207 of #sura al-Baqara is revealed about the #sacrifice of Imam 'Ali (a) for #saving the life of the Prophet (s).

✨لَیلَةُ المَبیت، شبی که امام علی(ع) برای حفظ جان پیامبر(ص) در بستر ایشان خوابید. مشرکان قصد داشتند در این شب دسته‌جمعی به خانه پیامبر حمله کنند و او را به قتل برسانند. به درخواست پیامبر(ص)، امام علی(ع) در بستر ایشان خوابید و در نتیجه مشرکان متوجه عدم حضور پیامبر نشدند و رسول خدا(ص) توانست در آن شب به سمت یثرب هجرت کند.

🔹🔶 و از سخنان آن حضرت(ع) است به وقتى كه به نظر يارانش در اجازه براى آغاز جنگ صفين درنگ می‌نمود:
🔸اما سخن شما که آیا این همه درنگ در جنگ به خاطر ناخشنودى از مرگ است، بخدا سوگند برای من اهمیتی ندارد كه من به سوى مرگ روم يا مرگ به سوى من آيد.
❤️اما اين كه مى گوييد كه در پيكار با مردم شام دچار ترديد شده‌ام، به خدا سوگند يك روز جنگ را به تأخير نينداختم، مگر به طمع اينكه گروهى از اين مردم به من ملحق شوند و به وسيله من هدايت شوند و با چشمان كم سوى خود به نور هدايت من راه پيمايند. و اين براى من محبوب‌تر است از کشتن آنها در حالى که گمراهند، هر چند كه كيفر گناهانشان به گردن خودشان است.

🔸 أَمَّا قَوْلُكُمْ أَ كُلَّ ذَلِكَ كَرَاهِيَةَ الْمَوْتِ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أُبَالِي دَخَلْتُ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ أَوْ خَرَجَ الْمَوْتُ إِلَيَّ.
❤️وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُكُمْ شَكّاً فِي أَهْلِ الشَّامِ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا دَفَعْتُ الْحَرْبَ يَوْماً إِلَّا وَ أَنَا أَطْمَعُ أَنْ تَلْحَقَ بِي طَائِفَةٌ فَتَهْتَدِيَ بِي وَ تَعْشُوَ إِلَى ضَوْئِي وَ ذَلِكَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أَقْتُلَهَا عَلَى ضَلَالِهَا وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ تَبُوءُ بِآثَامِهَا.

🔹🔶When Amir al-mu'minin's men showed impatience on his delay in giving them permission to fight in the Battle of Siffin, he said:
🔸 Well, as for your idea whether this (delay) is due to my unwillingness for death, then by Allah, I do not care whether I proceed towards death or death advances towards me.
❤️As for your impression that it may be due to my misgivings about the people of Syria (ash-Sham) , well by Allah, I did not put off war even for a day except in the hope that some group may join me, find guidance through me and see my light with their weak eyes. This is dearer to me than to kill them in the state of their misguidance although they would be bearing their own sins.

🌹 #Mubāhala (Arabic: مُباهَلَة) means cursing and damning each other. Two people or two parties, who believe they are right, supplicate before God and ask Him to curse the liar so that everyone knows who is right. Thus, the #Prophet (s.a) suggested #Christians_of_Najran to do mubahala and they accepted; however, on the day they had agreed upon earlier, they #refused to do mubahala since they saw that the Prophet (s) came with #closest_members of his family, who were his daughter, #Fatima al-Zahra (a), his son-in-law, #Imam_Ali (a), his grandsons, #Hasan (a) and #Husayn (a), and thus Christians understood his #truthfulness. This way the #Prophet (s) became #victorious in this event.

💠#Malik_al_Ashtar was one of the especial companions of #Imam_Ali a.s and one of the powerful leaders of Iraq. He was one of the commanders of the army of Imam 'Ali (a) who was forethoughtful in politics and strong in battle. He participated in the Battle of Jamal and the Battle of Siffin and eventually he was appointed by Imam 'Ali (pbuh) as #governor_general in #Egypt. However, he was martyred before arriving to Egypt.

✨The famous treaty of Malik al-Ashtar is a #letter that Imam 'Ali wrote to him while he was in Egypt.
