Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
Narrative of Embracing Islam by Lady Kosar (Silvia) Reported by Rahyafte (Comprehensive Base of Missionaries and New Muslims), the implementation of Haniyeh Zamamdar, the leader of the research group (Martyr Edoardo Agnelli Association), recounts the storyโ€ฆ
I struggled with the constant question of whether my choice would be accepted by those around me. The emotional toll was immense, and I constantly felt sorry for disappointing them until my father told me: "Silvia! This pain and suffering are part of the path you have chosen, so you must accept and embrace it, despite our opposition." I appreciate my father more for this statement, as it allowed me to endure the hardship with peace of mind and see all reactions as natural.

Loneliness is the last barrier to overcome, but it is not a significant one. Even if you have many friends but share no common ground with them, the friendship is not genuine, and it feels like a form of loneliness. Even with numerous friends, if there is no shared belief, one feels lonely. Therefore, it is better to engage in activities aligned with our beliefs, even if they are small, to avoid feeling lonely and to be able to move against societal norms.

In the Quran, it is mentioned that people are drawn towards the Prophet due to the sweetness and charm granted to him by God. This innate quality in all humans accepts and embraces good and better things. One of the challenges in my life is being a part of this modern society. A complex society where, for a woman, it is challenging to attain and maintain all aspects of human life, especially in Italy. Here, a woman must work, and it has become difficult for her to be just a wife or a mother. No! In this era, a woman must work, not by choice but out of necessity. The natural rhythm of being human has been disrupted here.

The best Shia Muslims I have seen, from my perspective, are those who willingly endure hardships, such as traveling for pilgrimage or performing religious duties. I have also seen Shia Muslims who are less appealing to me as they have become accustomed to an easy and carefree life, similar to people in my country who have embraced comfort.

My biggest wish is to become a complete human being. I used to think that when a person is born, they are complete, but now I understand that it is just the beginning of the journey towards becoming a complete human. I learned about Islam through my husband. Sometimes it may be perceived that the value of someone who discovers Islam through their spouse is less, but I don't think so. In fact, this recognition is valid because many of us come to know truths and new things through others.

The number of Shia Muslims in Italy is very low, and I feel very lonely here. It's as if I am living in a bubble of life. Nevertheless, with the help of God and my husband, we have established and manage a small business (an ice cream shop). Due to my hijab, I am restricted, and I cannot work elsewhere. If it weren't for this business, life would be unbearable for me.

๐Ÿ”บ "I was born into a Christian family, and thatโ€™s where my journey began."

๐Ÿ’  As reported by Rahyafte (The Comprehensive Platform for Missionaries and New Muslims): "I would like to share my journey to Islam with you, in the hope that my experiences might inspire you to explore your own path in life."

We are each born into different cultures, countries, and religions, often finding the world around us complex and confusing. As we look around, we can see the despair and unresolved issues in the worldโ€”war, poverty, crime, disease, and more.

๐Ÿ“Š Unfortunately, many people around the world seek to escape these global problems or hide from them rather than face the truth. Confronting the truth is often the hardest path. The question is: Are you willing to stand firm? Are you strong enough? Or do you prefer, like others, to flee and hide?

I began my search for truth a few years ago. I wanted to understand the essence of my existence, believing that a proper understanding of life is the key to solving the challenges we face today.

Growing up in a Christian family, my journey started with reading the Bible and constantly questioning it. However, I quickly became disillusioned. The priest told me, โ€œYou just have to believe.โ€ But how can one believe in contradictions? As I read the Bible, I found countless contradictions and errors. Does God lie or speak without basis? Surely not!

I realized that Christianity and the Jewish scriptures had been altered, making it impossible to find the truth within them. So, I turned to Eastern religions, especially Buddhism. I spent much time meditating in Buddhist temples and engaging in discussions with their monks. Meditation did bring me peace, but it didnโ€™t answer my question about the purpose of existence. They considered such questions absurd.

I studied tribal religions and traveled extensively. Although I found some truths, like Christianity and Judaism, they could not be seen as the ultimate truth.

Eventually, I concluded that truth exists in everything, regardless of what one believes or follows. But this notion was just another escape from reality, leaving me confused. I simply prayed to God, asking to be shown the truth. Thatโ€™s when I encountered Islam.

I had heard about Islam before, but what we hear in the West is often dark and distorted. Nonetheless, I felt drawn to investigate. The more I studied ๐Ÿ“š Quran and asked questions, the more truths I uncovered. A notable distinction in Islam is the clear separation between the Creator and the creation. Muslims worship the Creator, not the creation.

In other religions, objects like stones or people believed to embody God are worshipped. But if we are to worship, we should worship the One who created everythingโ€”the One who gave us life and will take it away. In Islam, the only unforgivable sin is worshipping creation instead of the Creator.

๐Ÿ”น The reality of Islam can be found in the Quran. The Quran is a guidebook for life, answering every question you may have. For me, all the pieces I learned from other religions fell into place like a puzzle, completed by Islam. True Islam is what the Quran teaches, not what is portrayed in the West. You, too, can begin your journey by seeking the truth in your own life.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ A Heart Turned by Truth: A Sunni Sister's Journey to Shi'ism

A powerful testimony from a sister from the UK who found her way to the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) through the love of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA).

"When I learned the story of Fatima Zahra (SA)... I had been told by Sunnis that she (SA) died of grief when her father passed away.

When I found out what really happened to Fatima (SA), it broke my heart. I felt completely disgusted with myself that I had been lied to, and that I had allowed people to lie to me. It broke my heart in so many ways.

I think what resonated with me in the story of the attack on Fatima's house was... when her ribs were broken. I just imagined myself... I just lay there on the ground and thought: what if all my bones are shattered? What am I going to do?
"

This raw, heartfelt account shows how the unwavering love for the Daughter of the Prophet (SA) is a divine light that guides sincere hearts to the ultimate truth.

The pain she felt for Bibi Fatima (SA) was not just historical grief; it was a key that unlocked her soul's recognition of the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

๐Ÿ’ Welcome, dear sister. Your heart has led you home.
