Victoria Norouzi: A Newly Converted Muslim Physician
The beauty and lovability of the Islamic faith are so profound that I never want to be oblivious to a single moment of it. I have sought and obtained everything I desired from God and the Quran.

Everything I Desired, I Have Gained from God and the Quran โจ
According to Rahyafte (Comprehensive Base of Preachers and New Muslims), as reported by Cheshmeh Barkhar website, contrary to the claims of some ideologies suggesting a diminished role of religion in human life, we witness a significant number of individuals around the globe actively choosing a superior and better faith. This trend, particularly in recent decades, has seen a remarkable inclination towards Islam among people in various parts of the world.
The following excerpt is from an interview with a woman who converted to Islam, and her greatest aspiration is to memorize the entire Quran and visit the House of God. Victoria Norouzi, born into a Christian family in Moscow and now forty years old, embraced Islam fifteen years ago. She has two children named "Anahita" and "Daniel," who speak Persian.
Victoria has been residing in the Simorgh Barkhar neighborhood in Iran for twelve years and is currently working as the head of the health center in the city of Sine. Her husband, Akbar Norouzi, is from Isfahan and is also a physician.
Having spent her early education in Ukraine, Czechoslovakia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan due to her father's profession, Victoria settled in Moscow after her father's retirement in 1372 (Persian calendar). A year later, she enrolled in the Sechenov Medical Academy and graduated in medicine from the same university.
Victoria, through her husband and his guidance during their academic years, transitioned from being a Christian to being aware of Islam. She expresses her admiration for Islam, stating that the beauty of this faith is so profound that she never wants to be oblivious to a single moment of it, having sought and obtained everything she desired from God and the Quran.
Victoria's perspective on Islam is so simple and unpretentious that even for someone familiar with Islam for years, her words are engaging and fresh. When asked about the moment she first considered converting to Islam, she shared that during the last year of university, she and her classmates were invited to Mr. Norouzi's house for an Iranian dinner during Ramadan. Inquiring about Mr. Norouzi's absence during the meal, they learned that he had gone to pray. After his return and dinner, she began asking questions about Islam, and that was the first spark for her inclination towards Islam.
Brief thoughts on the following words, please:
Truth and honesty: In one sentence, I believe it's when the heart and tongue speak the same thing.
Quran: I found answers to seven or eight important questions in my life in the Quran, but since I haven't memorized it, I can't say exactly. One of them had the concept that if God wanted, everyone would believe, and everyone would speak the same language.
Anahita: Power and perseverance.
House of God: A place I aspire to go.
Iran: A country with ancient history and pleasant weather.
Isfahan: A city I love.
Ganj Village: The hardship of work and an experience that always helps me.
Moscow: One of the most beautiful cities in the world.
My parents: I love them very, very much.
My husband: Someone who has never left me alone and never will.
Medicine: A profession I would choose again if I could go back.
Deprived areas: Appreciation for the endurance of people who, despite difficult conditions, stay and work in those areas.
Memorizing the Quran: Something I really want to start; something beyond a wish.
Love: A strange feeling that I don't want to lose.
Daniel: Literate, hardworking.
Most delicious Iranian dish: Fesenjan.
The most beautiful day of your life: Meeting my husband.
Christianity: The religion of God.
Victoria Norouzi continues, stating, 'In my opinion, addressing the health and educating the population under coverage is a priority over treatment. Therefore, conducting general education is one of my goals.' ๐ฟ๐ #VictoriaNorouzi #NewMuslim #IslamicJourney #FaithInAllah #QuranWisdom โจ

๐บ "I was born into a Christian family, and thatโs where my journey began."
๐ As reported by Rahyafte (The Comprehensive Platform for Missionaries and New Muslims): "I would like to share my journey to Islam with you, in the hope that my experiences might inspire you to explore your own path in life."
We are each born into different cultures, countries, and religions, often finding the world around us complex and confusing. As we look around, we can see the despair and unresolved issues in the worldโwar, poverty, crime, disease, and more.
๐ Unfortunately, many people around the world seek to escape these global problems or hide from them rather than face the truth. Confronting the truth is often the hardest path. The question is: Are you willing to stand firm? Are you strong enough? Or do you prefer, like others, to flee and hide?
I began my search for truth a few years ago. I wanted to understand the essence of my existence, believing that a proper understanding of life is the key to solving the challenges we face today.
Growing up in a Christian family, my journey started with reading the Bible and constantly questioning it. However, I quickly became disillusioned. The priest told me, โYou just have to believe.โ But how can one believe in contradictions? As I read the Bible, I found countless contradictions and errors. Does God lie or speak without basis? Surely not!
I realized that Christianity and the Jewish scriptures had been altered, making it impossible to find the truth within them. So, I turned to Eastern religions, especially Buddhism. I spent much time meditating in Buddhist temples and engaging in discussions with their monks. Meditation did bring me peace, but it didnโt answer my question about the purpose of existence. They considered such questions absurd.
I studied tribal religions and traveled extensively. Although I found some truths, like Christianity and Judaism, they could not be seen as the ultimate truth.
Eventually, I concluded that truth exists in everything, regardless of what one believes or follows. But this notion was just another escape from reality, leaving me confused. I simply prayed to God, asking to be shown the truth. Thatโs when I encountered Islam.
I had heard about Islam before, but what we hear in the West is often dark and distorted. Nonetheless, I felt drawn to investigate. The more I studied ๐ Quran and asked questions, the more truths I uncovered. A notable distinction in Islam is the clear separation between the Creator and the creation. Muslims worship the Creator, not the creation.
In other religions, objects like stones or people believed to embody God are worshipped. But if we are to worship, we should worship the One who created everythingโthe One who gave us life and will take it away. In Islam, the only unforgivable sin is worshipping creation instead of the Creator.
๐น The reality of Islam can be found in the Quran. The Quran is a guidebook for life, answering every question you may have. For me, all the pieces I learned from other religions fell into place like a puzzle, completed by Islam. True Islam is what the Quran teaches, not what is portrayed in the West. You, too, can begin your journey by seeking the truth in your own life.
