In the fifth part of “The World Conquerors”, Hungarian author Louis Marschalko exposes what he describes as the modern reincarnation of the Purim festival — the Nuremberg Trials of 1946.
Purim, the most celebrated Jewish festival, commemorates the alleged deliverance of the Jews from Haman, the Persian minister of King Ahasuerus (Xerxes I), as recorded in the Book of Esther. Yet, according to Marschalko, the essence of Purim is not liberation but revenge and bloodshed, recalling what he calls the “Holocaust of 75,000 Persians” engineered by Esther and Mordechai.
🕎 From Persia to Europe
Marschalko argues that the same spirit of vengeance reappeared two and a half millennia later — in Nuremberg, 1946, when Jewish influence allegedly shaped the post-war tribunals. He calls the Nuremberg executions the “New Purim”, symbolizing the triumph of what he terms “the World Jewish Government” over its ideological enemies.
⚖️ The Nuremberg “Spectacle”
In his view, the trials were a theatrical display of power rather than impartial justice. He claims that:
• The prosecution, witnesses, and investigators were overwhelmingly Jewish;
• Prisoners faced brutal torture and forced confessions;
• Fake evidence and cinematic propaganda — such as the film Death Mills — were used to manipulate global opinion;
• Executions of German officers mirrored the biblical hanging of Haman and his sons.
Marschalko quotes the American judge Charles F. Wennerstrum, who resigned in protest, stating that the Nuremberg proceedings were “dominated by those seeking vengeance rather than justice.”
🕊️ Between Cross and Sword
Contrasting Purim’s “festival of hatred and revenge” with Christianity’s “feast of love and mercy” — Christmas — Marschalko sees an eternal struggle between two spiritual worldviews:
📚 Conclusion
For Marschalko, the Nuremberg Purim marked not the end of war crimes, but the beginning of a new world order — one cloaked in the language of democracy, yet driven by ancient vengeance.
