❤️10th rabi-ul-awal The #Marriage of Muhammad Mustafa pbuh&hp and Khadija🎉✨

✨#Khadija, was a resident of Makkah and belonged to the tribe of Quraysh. She was held in high esteem by the Makkans because of her exemplary #character and her #organizing_ability.
Just as the Makkans called #Muhammad #Sadiq' and #Ameen,' they called Khadija #Tahira, which means “the pure one.”
She was also known among the Arabs as the ‘Princess of the Merchants.' Her cargo was larger in volume than the cargo of all other merchants of Makkah put together.
When Muhammad was #25 years old, his uncle and guardian, #Abu_Talib, suggested to Khadija, with his tacit understanding, that she appoint him as her agent in one of her caravans, which was ready to leave for Syria just then. She agreed and appointed Muhammad as her agent.
This commercial expedition to Syria was successful beyond expectations, and Khadija was so impressed by her agent's ability and integrity that she decided to put him in charge of all her future business transactions. The expedition also proved to be the prelude of their marriage. The #marriage of Muhammad and Khadija was most #successful. Khadija dedicated her life to the service of her husband and of #Islam. She spent all her vast wealth in strengthening Islam, and on the welfare of the Muslims. The marriage of Muhammad and Khadija was also blessed by the birth of their daughter, #Fatima_Zahra.

✅ Why didn't Lady Masuma get married?

🌸We know that #marriage is a highly desirable and recommended act in Islam and in regards to marriage, some of the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad are quoted below:
ِ
1-There is no institution more honorable and beloved to Allah, than marriage.
2-Marriage is part of my practice (Sunnah) and whoever disregards my #Sunnah is not from me.

🌸Therefore, we can be sure that there must have been a good reason for Lady Masuma not marrying.

🔎📝Two possible reasons are cited below:

1⃣ The first reason may be due to the fact that lady Masuma, was a woman of great distinction and to find a husband who would be compatible to her was not easy.

✨The fact that there were no suitable spouses present for the daughters of the Ahl al-Bayt (A), does not seem so far-fetched when we consider the tradition from Imam al-Sādiq (A) in reference to Lady Fatima Zahra (A):

“If #God had not created #Ali for #Fatima, then there would not have been a suitable husband for her in the whole world 🌍 from the time of Adam to the end of mankind.”

2⃣ The second reason is that the fear and anxiety caused by Hārūn’s government at that time was such that no-one dared to get close to the #family of the Ahl al-Bayt (A).

To marry one of the daughters of Imam al-Kāđim, and become his son in-law was considered too dangerous.

🌷This was one of the many sad difficulties that Imam’s family faced, due to the tyranny of the rulers of their time.

We cannot determine with certainty why Lady Fatima Masuma (A) did not marry, however, we can be sure it was not due to the abandonment of marriage as a personal choice.

💞The #Marriage of Imam #Ali(as) and Lady #Fatima(sa)

🌹The Holy Prophet of Islam (pbuh) said: “In the event that Ali would not have been created, there would have been no one worthy to be Fatima’s spouse.”

💠 A Marriage Made in Heaven

The extraordinary virtues of Lady Fatima (sa) on one hand, her blood relations with the Prophet on the other hand, and the nobility of her family furthermore, caused many of the high-ranking supporters of the Prophet to propose to her; but all heard negative answers. Each time, the Prophet would usually answer them, saying: “Her matter is in the hands of her Lord.”

🌸The strangest case was the proposal of Abdul Rahman ibn Awf. A rich man who, by the customs of Age of Ignorance, looked at everything through the viewing window of materialism, he visualized a heavy dowry as a sign of the woman’s personal status and the superior position of the husband. He came to see the Prophet, saying: “If you will give Fatima to me in marriage, I will make her a dower of one hundred camels with loads of precious material from Egypt, along with 10000 Dinars in gold!”

🌹The Prophet was so displeased with this meaningless proposal that he took a handful of gravel and threw it towards Abdul Rahman and said: “You thought that I was a servant of money and wealth that you are expressing pride in your money and wealth!” (Tezkerat al-Khawas)

🌸Indeed, in Lady Fatima’s marriage proposal Islamic examples must be defined, the customs of ignorance suppressed, and the standards of Islamic values made clear.

🌹The people were speaking of these very things when suddenly it was heard everywhere that the Prophet wished to give his only daughter to Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) in marriage. Imam Ali did not have access to worldly wealth and possessions, nor did he possess any of the standards of the Age of Ignorance; rather, instead he was from head to toe full of faith and real Islamic values. Indeed, this blessed historical marriage was a heavenly revelation, because the Prophet himself said: “An angel of God came to me and told me that God sends you greetings and says: ‘I have made Fatima the wife of Ali ibn Abi Talib in the highest heavens already, so you should also marry her to him on earth.'” (Dhakair al-Abqa)

🌸When Imam Ali went to the Prophet with his marriage proposal for Lady Fatima, his face was red with shyness. When the Prophet saw him, he became cheerful and smiled, asking him why he had come. But Imam Ali, because of the imposing presence of the Prophet, could not put forth his wish and, as such, remained silent.

🌹Aware of Imam Ali’s intentions, the Prophet said: “Maybe you have come for marriage proposal of Fatima?” He replied: “Yes, I have come for that very purpose.” The Prophet said: “Ali, before you, other men had come for proposal of Fatima. Whenever I informed Fatima of this matter, she would not show her approval. Right now, let me inform her of this conversation.”

🌸It is true that the marriage was heavenly and must take place. But especially because of the high status of Lady Fatima, and to demonstrate the respect and freedom of women in choosing their husbands, it was necessary that the Prophet of Islam should not go ahead in this matter without the consent of Lady Fatima.

🌹When the Prophet described the virtues of Imam Ali for his daughter, he said: “I wish to make you the wife of the best of God’s creation. What is your opinion?” Lady Fatima, who was submerged in shyness and modesty, lowered her head saying nothing and denying nothing. The Prophet raised his head and spoke this historical sentence, which is a proof for Islamic jurists today in relation to the marriage of previously unmarried girls: “God is the Greatest! Her silence is the proof of her agreement.”

🌸Following these events, the marriage contract was concluded by the Holy Prophet.

💠 Lady Fatima’s Dowry

🌹It is without doubt that the marriage of the Best of Men in the world with the Princess of the World’s Women must in every way be an example – one for all centuries and ages.

7. Verse 7 of Surah An-Naba’ Verse: وَجَعَلْنَا الْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا Translation: And We placed the mountains as pegs. Brief Tafsir (Commentary): This verse emphasizes God's power in designing the earth's stability. Mountains are likened to pegs or stakes…
8. Verse 8 of Surah An-Naba:
Verse: وَ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا
Translation: And We created you in pairs.

Short Tafsir: This verse refers to one of God's great blessings: the creation of human beings in pairs. Pairing is not only the means for the continuation of the human race, but also a symbol of divine wisdom in providing peace, love, and spiritual growth for humanity.

Wilayah Perspective: In the system of Wilaya, marriage can be seen as a symbol of the complementary roles within the religious community. Just as men and women complement each other, the concepts of leadership (Wilayah) and followers (Ummah) also find meaning together. Wilayah strengthens the foundation of both the family and society by upholding this natural structure.

Mahdavi Perspective: In the time of the ظهور (Appearance of Imam Mahdi), the structure of families will be based on love, faith, and justice. A healthy marriage culture will be strengthened, emphasizing mutually enhancing and Wilayah-based roles. During that time, the followers of Imam al-Hujjah (A.J.) will serve as the perfect example of a faithful family.

🔸 Amir al-Mu'minin & Lady Fatima (AS) and Sharing Household Responsibilities 🔸

Some husbands think that if they help with housework, their wives will take advantage of them — that the lady of the house will leave a pile of laundry and say “wash it,” or leave dishes and say “wash them.” And so the man tells his wife: “We have divided the responsibilities — outside work is mine, and the housework is yours…”

However, one day the Messenger of God (PBUH) 🕋 came to the house of Fatima and Ali (AS). Their meal was lentils. Ali (AS) was busy cleaning the lentils, and Fatima al-Zahra (AS) was preparing the fire for cooking. The Prophet (PBUH) then began to explain how much reward there is in helping one’s spouse… 🤲❤️

🌹 Reviving Love in Marriage: A Lesson from Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi ❤️

🔹 Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi
shares profound advice for every household:

“Affection in married life — even if buried under a stone — must be found and revived.”

How do we revive love for our spouse?

1. Express it openly — start small, then gradually let it flourish.
2. Take the initiative — if love has faded due to neglect, one of you must step forward to rekindle it.
3. Say it clearly: “I love you.” When spoken, it creates love.

Sometimes we hesitate — “If I say I love you, they’ll take advantage.”
That’s the whisper of Shaytan.

📖 Look at how Imam Khomeini (RA) wrote to his family from Lebanon:
“Everything here is good, but your absence — what can I do?”
Such expression melts hearts in love, and through love for each other, love for God is born.

If affection has faded, apologize:
“You served me, you never betrayed me — I was neglectful. I apologize.”

Whoever takes the first step earns great reward — and turns a house into a garden of mercy.

❤️ Love is not just a feeling — it is a duty, an ibadah, and a path to Divine closeness.
