🔰#Shiism is nothing other than #Islam ‑ not that which they tell us: `Islam in addition, to other things'. #No! Shi'ism means #pure_Islam, Islam minus the Caliphate, pseudo Arabness and those who live in luxury. Shi'ism does not take the two principles of #justice and #imamate (religious leadership) and add them to Islam ‑ Islam without justice and Imamate is the same as the religion of #Islam_minus_Islam. The same is true for Christianity, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Vedantism, Buddhism and Taoism.
#Ali a.s has not been added to #Muhammad(‘s). We have taken Ali in order not to lose Muhammad.
The descendants of the historical Caesars, Kings, Pharaohs all spoke from Muhammad, yet there is a difference in what they stood for.
We do not replace the Traditions (#sunnah) of the Prophet with the #family_of_Ali, nor do we add to them. Very simply and straight forwardly, this is his family. We seek to know, through the Traditions, what he said, what he did and what he wanted but with the help and guidance of his
family.
✨Contrary to what both enemies and lovers today think, #Shiism is the most traditional sect of Islam.
The major difference stems principally from whether or not Ali and the #real_Shiites tried consciously and correctly, from the beginning, in opposition to innovations and heresy, to remain traditional and retain the traditions.

✅ Why didn't Lady Masuma get married?
🌸We know that #marriage is a highly desirable and recommended act in Islam and in regards to marriage, some of the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad are quoted below:
ِ
1-There is no institution more honorable and beloved to Allah, than marriage.
2-Marriage is part of my practice (Sunnah) and whoever disregards my #Sunnah is not from me.
🌸Therefore, we can be sure that there must have been a good reason for Lady Masuma not marrying.
🔎📝Two possible reasons are cited below:
1⃣ The first reason may be due to the fact that lady Masuma, was a woman of great distinction and to find a husband who would be compatible to her was not easy.
✨The fact that there were no suitable spouses present for the daughters of the Ahl al-Bayt (A), does not seem so far-fetched when we consider the tradition from Imam al-Sādiq (A) in reference to Lady Fatima Zahra (A):
“If #God had not created #Ali for #Fatima, then there would not have been a suitable husband for her in the whole world 🌍 from the time of Adam to the end of mankind.”
2⃣ The second reason is that the fear and anxiety caused by Hārūn’s government at that time was such that no-one dared to get close to the #family of the Ahl al-Bayt (A).
To marry one of the daughters of Imam al-Kāđim, and become his son in-law was considered too dangerous.
🌷This was one of the many sad difficulties that Imam’s family faced, due to the tyranny of the rulers of their time.
We cannot determine with certainty why Lady Fatima Masuma (A) did not marry, however, we can be sure it was not due to the abandonment of marriage as a personal choice.

The Biography of Lady Fatima Masuma (A)
1.1 - Predictions about this Noble Lady It is interesting to know that the Imams (A) foretold the birth of this noble lady and her presence in Qum many years before her birth. Qādī Nūrullāh Shūshtarī (d. 1109 A.H) reports from the 6th Imam, Imam Ja`far al…

📚Book of the week📚
📕Discovering shiia Islam
🔴Discovering #Shiia_Islam is a brief introduction to main issues related to #Islam in general and Shi’i Islam in particular. Though simply and clearly written, it is an outcome of more than twenty years of involvement in Islamic studies.
The text studies the origins of Shi’i Islam and its sources, i.e. the #Quran, the #Sunnah, the reason and consensus. It also studies fundamental doctrines and main practices of Islam.
It ends with a brief account of the latest statistics about the present Muslim population of the world along with a breakdown of religious affiliations of some countries with a long history of Shi’i presence therein. Discovering Shi’i Islam represents a sincere commitment to Islamic unity and is hoped to serve as a modest step towards #Muslim_brotherhood. ✨Indeed, this book echoes the Qur’anic call for #unity which extends to all people of faith to unify their efforts and concentrate on their common ground.

🔴 Ramadan Practices: "Iftar", Part 1 ✍️ Mostafa Amiri 1️⃣ First Option for Iftar: Warm Water and Dates 🔹 The first option for Iftar is warm water along with natural sweets such as dates, honey, raisins, dried grapes, red sugar from sugarcane, and halva.…
🔴 Ramadan Practices: "Iftar" – Part 2
✍️ Mostafa Amiri
1️⃣ The Wisdom of Starting Iftar with Warm Water
🔹 The reason for beginning Iftar with warm water is that during fasting, the stomach’s heat increases, causing bodily waste and excess fluids to move toward the stomach. Therefore, drinking warm water first helps wash out these toxins and expel them from the body.
2️⃣ Pour Warm Water to Flush It Out
🔸 Imagine a clogged drain—what’s the first advice? "Pour hot water to clear it."
🔹 The same principle applies at Iftar. Throughout the fasting day, toxins accumulate in the stomach, ready to be expelled. Drinking warm water at Iftar helps flush them out, while drinking cold water or eating immediately traps these toxins inside the body, mixing them with food and recirculating them into the organs.
🔹 Ideal first Iftar food must meet two key conditions:
✅ It should cleanse the stomach.
✅ It should restore blood sugar lost during fasting.
(Warm water and dates fulfill both.)
3️⃣ Cold Water Means Goodbye to the Benefits of Fasting
🔸 By the end of the fasting day, waste products and mucus accumulate in the stomach, leading to bad breath.
🔹 If you drink cold water immediately, the stomach’s necessary digestive heat decreases, disrupting digestion. The combination of internal waste and external cold water results in digestive disorders.
4️⃣ Breaking Fast with Cheese and Herbs – A Mistake?
🔹 At Iftar, toxins from various body organs accumulate in the stomach. If you drink cold water or eat heavy food (including cheese and herbs) immediately after Adhan, those toxins mix with food and are reabsorbed into the body, worsening health conditions.
🔸 That’s why scholars emphasize: "The medicinal benefits of fasting depend on proper Iftar."
🔹 Eating cheese, herbs, porridge, or pudding immediately after Adhan is a common mistake that reintroduces toxins into the bloodstream instead of eliminating them.
5️⃣ Breaking the Fast with Fruits? Another Mistake
🔹 The body needs warmth at Iftar, not raw fruits.
🔸 First, drink warm water with dates or honey. After 30 minutes, you may eat cheese, herbs, soup, and other light foods.
6️⃣ Be Patient—Wait 30 Minutes Before Eating
🔸 Start Iftar with warm water, seven dates, or two spoonfuls of honey.
🔹 Wait 30 minutes before eating anything else. This allows the stomach to cleanse itself, flushing out waste accumulated during fasting.
🔸 Use this time to pray Maghrib and Isha. After that, you can eat soup, porridge, pudding, or other light meals.
🔹 You have fasted for hours—what's 30 more minutes? Be patient and let fasting complete its full healing cycle!
7️⃣ Ice-Cold Water and the Fragile Porcelain Effect at Iftar
🔹 A common mistake is drinking a large amount of ice-cold water the moment Adhan is heard. Not only does it fail to quench thirst, but it causes stomach pain.
🔸 Drinking ice-cold water at Iftar is harmful according to both traditional medicine and modern science.
🔹 After a long fast, the stomach’s heat is elevated. If you suddenly introduce cold water, it shocks the stomach, leading to:
✅ Severe stomach cramps and digestive issues.
✅ Immediate flushing of cold water to the intestines (without proper absorption).
✅ A strong parasympathetic reflex that may, in extreme cases, contribute to fainting or even sudden death.
🔹 Analogy:
Imagine pouring cold water on a hot porcelain dish—what happens? It cracks. The same happens to your stomach if you break your fast with ice-cold water.
🌙 Practice mindful and healthy Iftar for the best physical and spiritual benefits of fasting! 🌙

🌿 The Prophet’s Five Eternal Sunnahs 🌿
Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrated:
🌸 These are not mere gestures — they are the Prophet’s (ﷺ) lifelong lessons in humility, simplicity, and love for all creation.
To eat with the lowly, to ride simply, to work by one’s own hands, to dress modestly, and to honor the innocent hearts of children — these are signs of a heart truly near to Allah.
💫 True greatness is not in power or luxury, but in humility and compassion that reflect divine light.

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrated:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
There are five things I shall never abandon until my death:
eating upon the ground with servants,
riding a donkey with a simple saddle,
milking the goat with my own hands,
wearing garments of wool,
and greeting children —
so that these acts remain a Sunnah after me.”
