Mr. Seyed Abbas Mousavi Motlaq, a renowned ethics teacher, wrote on his page:
"Last night, in the middle of the night, I went to meet one of the saints of God. With distress, I said, 'According to various signs and the words of the great spiritual leaders, Ayatollah Raeesi was the hope for Iran's future, and his untimely death should not have happened!'
The saint replied, 'Yes, that is true. However, both his martyrdom brings extraordinary blessings for the revolution and Shia Islam, and I am aware of two prayers he made that were answered:
Firstly, on the Night of Qadr, with a burning heart, he requested martyrdom and asked Imam Reza (peace be upon him) to intercede for this request, which was granted. Secondly, on the night of the Operation True Promise, he prostrated and said, "God, if this attack will harm the people, let me be the sacrifice."
