✨Modernism and #oppression are two extremes. If by modernism you mean what we have in the West, then I reject modernism. #Feminism as it has been practiced in the #West since the 1960s has been most destructive for women. The feminists pretended to want to liberate women from their roles as wives and #mothers and let them be free to work, have their own homes, and be sexually liberal. But the truth is that these things do not bring #happiness to a woman. A woman can only be truly fulfilled in her role as #wife and mother. She can also have a successful career, but ask any career woman who has no children of her own, and she will tell you that she would trade all of her professional success to have even one child. Oppression is the opposite extreme, in which women have no rights. A healthy #balance is best for #women and for society in general.

For 1700 years, the poets of the world have spent all of their creative efforts and power in their praise of Mary. السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا خَدِيجَةَ الْكُبْرَى، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا زَوْجَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا مَنْ نَصَرْتِ الْإِسْلَامَ بِمَالِكِ وَ نَفْسِكِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا مَنْ صَدَّقْتِ الرَّسُولَ وَآمَنْتِ بِرِسَالَتِهِ وَ وَاسَيْتِهِ بِنَفْسِكِ وَ مَالِكِ.

Transliteration:
As-salāmu 'alayki yā Khadījatal-Kubrā,
As-salāmu 'alayki yā zawjata Rasūlillāh,
As-salāmu 'alayki yā Umm al-Mu’minīn,
As-salāmu 'alayki yā man nasartil-Islāma bimāliki wa nafsik,
As-salāmu 'alayki yā Umm Fatimatal-Zahrā Sayyidati Nisā’ al-‘Ālamīn,
As-salāmu 'alayki yā man saddaqtir-Rasūl wa āmanti bi-risālatih, wa wāsaytihi binafsik wa mālik.

English Translation:
Peace be upon you, O Khadijah the Great,
Peace be upon you, O wife of the Messenger of Allah,
Peace be upon you, O Mother of the Believers,
Peace be upon you, O one who supported Islam with your wealth and soul,
Peace be upon you, O mother of Fatimah al-Zahra, the leader of the women of the worlds,
Peace be upon you, O one who affirmed the Messenger, believed in his message, and sacrificed your life and wealth for him.

📿 O Allah, grant us her intercession on the Day of Judgment. 🤲🏻
