❣ #Hazrat_Ruqayyah (S.A)

She is the daughter of #Imam_Husseain (A.S) and one of the witnesses of Karbala tragedy who created a heroic event like other members of Ahl al-Bayt (S.A) with her #martyrdom-like death. The name of her holiness that is in fact her title is derived from 'Raqi" meaning #ascending and improving and her real name was Fatimah. Her #mother (S.A) was Um-i-Ishaq who was a great and virtuous woman.
▪️The presence of Hazrat Ruqayyah (S.A) in the event of #Ashura manifests another aspect of grandeur and magnificence of Ashura tragedy. The presence of this little girl in the very heart of Husseini bloody movement, definitely, cannot be considered a simple and insignificant thing.
According to the historians and maqtal-recorders, the death of Hazrat Ruqayyah (S.A) happened very short after the bloody event of Karbala in 61 A.D. when she was three or four years old.
▪️The calamities and #difficulties inflicted on Hazrat Ruqayyah (S.A) from #Karbala to #Kufa and from Kufa to #Sham are so bitter and terrible that bothers the conscious of any man of salvation and liberty and really harms the hearts and souls. Suffering the hot temperature of Karbala while being thirsty, presence at the scene of her relatives' martyrdom, slavery and observing tyrannical behaviors, suffering physical and mental tortures, missing the father in the ruins of Sham, and so on indicate the sever misfortunes that a little child with her delicate body and mind has been afflicted with.

۲۱- فَحَقُّ أُمِّكَ فَأَنْ تَعْلَمَ أَنَّهَا حَمَلَتْكَ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْمِلُ أَحَدٌ أَحَداً وَ أَطْعَمَتْكَ مِنْ ثَمَرَةِ قَلْبِهَا مَا لَا يُطْعِمُ أَحَدٌ أَحَداً. وَ أَنَّهَا وَقَتْكَ بِسَمْعِهَا وَ بَصَرِهَا وَ يَدِهَا وَ رِجْلِهَا وَ شَعْرِهَا وَ بَشَرِهَا وَ جَمِيعِ جَوَارِحِهَا مُسْتَبْشِرَةً بِذَلِكَ، فَرِحَةً، مُوَابِلَةً مُحْتَمِلَةً لِمَا فِيهِ مَكْرُوهُهَا وَ أَلَمُهَا وَ ثِقْلُهَا وَ غَمُّهَا حَتَّى دَفَعَتْهَا عَنْكَ يَدُ الْقُدْرَةِ وَ أَخْرَجَتْكَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ فَرَضِيَتْ أَنْ تَشْبَعَ وَ تَجُوعَ هِيَ وَ تَكْسُوَكَ وَ تَعْرَى وَ تُرْوِيَكَ وَ تَظْمَأَ وَ تُظِلَّكَ وَ تَضْحَى وَ تُنَعِّمَكَ بِبُؤْسِهَا وَ تُلَذِّذَكَ بِالنَّوْمِ بِأَرَقِهَا وَ كَانَ بَطْنُهَا لَكَ وِعَاءً وَ حَجْرُهَا لَكَ حِوَاءً وَ ثَدْيُهَا لَكَ سِقَاءً وَ نَفْسُهَا لَكَ وِقَاءً، تُبَاشِرُ حَرَّ الدُّنْيَا وَ بَرْدَهَا لَكَ وَ دُونَكَ، فَتَشْكُرُهَا عَلَى قَدْرِ ذَلِكَ وَ لَا تَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا بِعَوْنِ اللَّهِ وَ تَوْفِيقِهِ.

[حقوق خويشاوندان]‏
۲۱- حق #مادر اين است كه بدانى جايى ترا (نگه داشته و) جابجا كرده (رحم) كه هيچ كس ديگرى را در آنجا حمل نكند، ميوه ‏اى از دلش به تو خورانده كه هيچ كس به ديگرى نخوراند. گوش، چشم، دست، پا، مو، پوست و (خلاصه) همه اعضايش را با شادمانى و خرمى و مراقبت، سپر جان تو ساخته. همه ناملايمات، دردها، سختيها و غصه‏ هاى دوران حمل را بجان خريده، تا آنگاه كه دست قدرت (پروردگار) ترا (از تنگناى رحم) به پهنه زمين آورده. مادر دلخوش بوده ترا سير كند و خود گرسنه ماند، ترا بپوشاند و خود برهنه باشد، و ترا سيراب كند و خود تشنه ماند، بر تو سايه افكند و خود در آفتاب بسر برد، سختی كشد و ترا بناز پرورد، بيدار ماند و ترا به خواب نوشين كند، اندرون او ظرف وجود تو بوده. دامنش آرامگاه، پستانش مشک آب و جانش سپر بلايت، گرم و سرد جهان را بخاطر تو بجان خريده، تو بايد به همين اندازه از او تشكر كنى، و اين حق‏شناسى را جز به يارى و توفيق خدا نتوانى.

[RIGHTS OF RELATIVES]
21- The right of your #mother is that you know that she carried you where no one carries anyone, she gave to you the fruit of her heart that which no one gives to anyone, and she protected you with her hearing, sight, hand, leg, hair, and skin as well as all her organs. She was highly delighted, happy, eager, and enduring the harm, pains, heaviness, and grief until the hand of power saved her from you and took you out to this earth. She did not care if she went hungry as long as you ate, if she was naked as long as you were clothed, if she was thirsty as long as you drank, is she was in the sun as long as you were in the shade, if she was miserable as long as you were happy, and if she was deprived of sleeping as long as you were resting. Her abdomen was your container, her lap your seat, her breast your container of drink, and her soul was your fort. She protected you from heat and cold. You should thank her for all that. You will not be able to show her gratitude unless through Allah's help and giving success.

🕊 Proof of the Martyrdom of Lady Khadijah (SA) Based on the Definition of Martyrdom in the Qur'an

🔹 Some believe that martyrdom only refers to being killed on the battlefield, but the Holy Qur'an provides a broader meaning of martyrdom. Upon examining the Qur'anic definition of martyrdom, it becomes clear that Lady Khadijah (SA) is also considered a martyr.

📖 1️⃣ Definition of Martyrdom in the Qur'an

✅ Martyrdom as Sacrifice for the Sake of God

"And those who were killed in the way of Allah, He will not let their deeds go to waste."
📖 (Surah Muhammad, 47:4)

🔹 This verse shows that giving one's life in the way of Allah, not necessarily in a battlefield, is considered martyrdom. Lady Khadijah (SA) also sacrificed her wealth, comfort, and life for the sake of Islam.

✅ Martyrdom as Enduring Great Hardship for Religion

"And those who migrated in the way of Allah, then they were killed or died, Allah will grant them a good provision."
📖 (Surah Al-Hajj, 22:58)

🔹 In this verse, Allah grants the same reward to those who migrate for His cause and then die—whether through martyrdom or natural death. Lady Khadijah (SA) was confined in the Shi'b of Abu Talib, enduring extreme hardships and hunger, ultimately passing away as a result of these tribulations; this is also considered martyrdom.

🏴 2️⃣ Reason for Lady Khadijah’s Martyrdom (SA)

🔹 Lady Khadijah (SA) was the first female Muslim, a great supporter of Islam and the Prophet (PBUH), and the mother of Lady Fatimah (SA). She sacrificed all her wealth to support the Prophet (PBUH) and Islam. Ultimately, due to the economic blockade imposed by the idolaters during the Shi'b of Abu Talib, her death came as a result of enduring hunger and extreme hardships.

🔹 Therefore, Lady Khadijah (SA), who gave her life in support of the Prophet (PBUH) and Islam, is undoubtedly considered a martyr.

✅ Conclusion

1️⃣ The Qur'an does not limit martyrdom to being killed in battle; rather, anyone who sacrifices their life for the sake of Allah is considered a martyr.
2️⃣ Lady Khadijah (SA) died as a result of the economic embargo, hunger, and the extreme difficulties inflicted by the enemies of Islam, which is a clear example of martyrdom.
3️⃣ The martyrdom of Lady Khadijah (SA) is in full accordance with Qur'anic and narrational standards, similar to the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah (SA) and the earliest martyrs of Islam like Sumayyah and Yasir.

📿 Peace be upon you, O Khadijah al-Kubra, O Mother of the Believers, O Mother of Fatimah al-Zahra (SA).
