कभी भारतीय रुपये पर अंग्रेज़ी हुकूमत का राजा छपा करता था। पर आज़ादी के बाद जिसने हमारे रुपयों को “भारतीय पहचान” दी, वे थे – सर चिंतामणराव देशमुख, स्वतंत्र भारत के पहले भारतीय RBI गवर्नर।

👉 रायगढ़ जिले के छोटे से गाँव ‘नाते’ से निकलकर, केंब्रिज विश्वविद्यालय में टॉपर और ICS में प्रथम स्थान पाना – यह उनकी प्रतिभा का चमत्कार था।
👉 1943 में बैंक ऑफ़ इंग्लैंड की गवर्नर परिषद में जगह बनाई और 1949 में स्वतंत्र भारत की वित्तीय नीतियों को दिशा दी।
👉 उन्होंने रिज़र्व बैंक, शिक्षा और संस्कृति – तीनों को नई पहचान दी।

आज जब हम UPI, डिजिटल इंडिया और मज़बूत अर्थव्यवस्था की बात करते हैं, तो इसकी नींव रखने वाले ऐसे गुमनाम नायकों को याद करना हमारी जिम्मेदारी है।

✨ असली राष्ट्रनिर्माता वे हैं जो भाषणों में नहीं, बल्कि नीतियों और मूल्यों से देश की पहचान गढ़ते हैं।
