🎼10 June 1910. 111 years ago 😳 Chester Arthur Burnett, one of the first blues singer with a rock style 🤟... and a legendary one, was born in White Station, Mississippi, USA.
He became worldwide known as Howlin' Wolf, a nickname gained for his powerful voice, imposing physic and stage presence, when he moved to Chicago in adulthood and became a protagonist of the Chicago blues scene along with #MuddyWaters and the likes.
He wrote many blues standards like "Spoonfool" or "Killing Floor", but I always choose his iconic number... Howlin' for my Darlin' 😈🔝
As always if you have any favorite from "Mr. Wolf", post it in the Chat Room👇😃
