🎼8 June 1671. Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni (in Venetian, Zuane) was born in Venice. A Baroque musician and composer, he wrote operas, concertos, sonatas for one to six instruments, sinfonias, and solo cantatas... but his name will be forever associated and remembered fot this Adagio in G minor, still today one of the most performed classical pieces not only by orchestras, but by guitar virtuosos 🎸 from all over the world.
Some claim this marsterpiece wasn't written by #Albinoni at his time, instead by an Italian 20th century musicologist named Remo Giazotto who studied Albinoni's work for all his lifetime and put together various musical pieces of the Maestro.
Truth or legend, Adagio in G minor is simply breathtaking... and again it's incredible what has come out from this magic city on the Lagoon in past centuries! 🙏🏻❤️
In the Chat Room 2 fantastic today versions of the Adagio👇

30 years ago Faith No More from San Francisco, #USA released their 4rth studio album Angel Dust.
The album followed the great success of their 1989 full-length Epic, which marked #FaithNoMore international breakthrough.
Despite this, the band moved towards a new different music style and a more experimental approach, mainly thanks to the active songwriting contribution of eclectic vocalist and frontman Mike Patton (who entered the band 3 years earlier when Epic was already written).

Angel Dust is to date the best-selling Faith No More album! The single "Easy", cover of the famous #LionelRichie song, was also a massive success.

Faith No More in this album were:
#MikeBordin – drums
Roddy Bottum – keyboards
#BillyGould – bass
#JimMartin – guitar
#MikePatton – vocals
