🎼16 March 1968. Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay becomes the first posthumous No.1 single in US chart history and sells over 4 million 😳 copies worldwide. Otis Redding, fantastic soul singer and author of this song we all know, had in fact already left this world in an airplane crash 4 months before 😔 what a tremendous loss for music! 🤷♂🎙🎶

🎼16 March 1962. Happy 60th Birthday to this guy called Ron Quintana from San Francisco, California.
He well deserves a space in the #RockMoments.
He was a radio dj in early 1980s, specialized in promoting newly formed Heavy⚡️Metal bands. He was also a tape trader, like many in those years exchanging MCs or #Cassettes with fellow Metalheads.
One of these Metal crazies 😈 was a dude called Lars Ulrich, who in 1981 used to hang out with #RonQuintana.
When Quintana decided to found a Heavy Metal magazine he asked #LarsUlrich: "Shall I name it Metal Mania or Metallica?" Lars replied: "Metal Mania, I'll take Metallica name for my band!" 🤘🔥
