🎼📼 Musicassettes, Musictapes, MCs or simply #Cassettes... who's lucky, therefore old 😉, enough to recall them? They were great, handy and trendy in the 80s, for sure the first chance to walk around and move while listening to your favorite music!
The one above☝️is one of the first #MC I got back in the days, now lying in #VeniceRocksRoom ... and since it came out exactly 40 years ago, 14 September 1981, I feel like posting it!
It's the first official live album (an EP with just 5 tracks in fact) by Iron Maiden 😈 and the only with their original #vocalist Paul Di Anno, taken from their first Japanese tour: after that called Maiden Japan 🤟

🎼16 March 1962. Happy 60th Birthday to this guy called Ron Quintana from San Francisco, California.
He well deserves a space in the #RockMoments.
He was a radio dj in early 1980s, specialized in promoting newly formed Heavy⚡️Metal bands. He was also a tape trader, like many in those years exchanging MCs or #Cassettes with fellow Metalheads.
One of these Metal crazies 😈 was a dude called Lars Ulrich, who in 1981 used to hang out with #RonQuintana.

When Quintana decided to found a Heavy Metal magazine he asked #LarsUlrich: "Shall I name it Metal Mania or Metallica?" Lars replied: "Metal Mania, I'll take Metallica name for my band!" 🤘🔥
