🎼15 March 1955. As per today's 👉 Monday Recharger, Happy Birthday 🍻 to the Iron Man Of Rock'n'Roll 💪, Dee Snider, founder, leader and singer of the glorious Twisted Sister, one of the best and most acclaimed Hard Rock, Glam Metal, Hair Metal, call it whatever, it's massive Rock'n'Roll acts of the 80s. 🤟
In the picture above☝️🔝 taken from my #VeniceRocksRoom page, he is the guy on the right coming out from his own #LP 😳😉
Born Daniel Snider in Queens, New York, today he is still fit enough to perform tremendous concerts with his new solo material and old time #TwistedSister classics. Dee also hosts for more than 20 years the #HouseOfHair, syndicated radio program that features heavy metal, glam metal and hard rock, mostly from the 1980s and early 1990s: unfortunately for me 🤷♂️, you can hear it only if you are in the US.
In the Chat Room👇 more photos and infos and my favorite T⚡️S song!!! 🤟🎸🎙

📀 Stay Hungry

40 years ago Twisted Sister from New Jersey, #USA released their 3rd studio album.
Stay Hungry was a massive success, it sold more than 3million copies in the US only, it contains the most known #TwistedSister songs and is considered one of the 1980s Heavy Metal landmarks.
Killer album from start to finish, and #VeniceRocksRoom neighbours should agree!

🗣🎸#19September 1985.
On this day of 40 years ago, 3 prominent musicians were admitted for hearings at the US Senate, in front of the #PMRC (Parents Music Resource Center) commitee.
PMRC at that time was not only aiming to put the (in)famous Parental Advisory sticker☝️but they were arguing to introduce a rating system based on objectionable lyrics for Rock albums!
PMRC became in the years the main target for musicians of all genres, and these 3 guys were widely regarded as "The Holy Trinity" in defense of Rock Music and freedom of expression and against censorship:
🧠 #FrankZappa "The Brain"
🔥 #DeeSnider "The Fire"
❤️ #JohnDenver "The Heart"
In the comments the complete hearings on that day👇
