35 years ago Necrodeath from Genova, #Italy, released their debut studio album entitled Into The Macabre.
This album is widely considered an underground gem, seminal for the entire Extreme Metal scene.
I remember attending Rock The Castle Festival a couple of years ago: 👉 Phil Anselmo came on stage with his band right after #Necrodeath and he said he felt honored to share the stage with these guys who "played Black Metal before Black Metal"!
He was in fact right: Necrodeath share the title of first Black Metal act with Bathory and few others, considering the fact that some tracks contained in Into The Macabre belonged to their 1985 legendary debut demotape!

30 years ago Sadist from #Genoa, #Italy released their 2nd studio album.
Tribe was recorded between Italy and England in 1995 and is widely considered #Sadist best album and a songwriting peak of band leader Tommaso "Tommy" Talamanca.
Thanks to this record the band got comparisons with the masters of Technical / Progressive Death Metal genre such as Atheist, Cynic, Nocturnus and even Death.
Stunning, amazing, possibly the best keayboads driven Death Metal I've heard🤘🔥
