30 years ago Porcupine Tree from England, #UK, released their 3rd studio album.
The Sky Moves Sideways is in fact their first release as a proper band, their previous albums were more of a Steven Wilson solo project.
It's also their first album to be distributed out of the UK. Critically acclaimed, it has been compared to Pink Floyd's middle 70s works for its musical structure.
#PorcupineTree tried to keep out of music business and gained a cult following, leading critics to describe them as "the most important band you'd never heard of"❤️🔥
In this album:
#StevenWilson – vocals, guitar, keyboards, tapes, programming
#ColinEdwin – bass
#RichardBarbieri –keyboards, electronics, programming
#ChrisMaitland, #GavinHarrison – drums
Additional musicians
#RickyEdwards – percussion
#TheoTravis – flute
#SuzanneJBarbieri – vocals
