Joy Division
📀 Unknown Pleasures
#PostPunk #GothicRock
45 years ago Joy Division from Salford, England, #UK released their debut studio album, their only one during lead singer Ian Curtis' lifetime.
Unknown Pleasures is unanimously regarded as one of the most important and influential albums of all time, it inspired generations of musicians in every genre.
To me this album has always been like Jim Morrison came back to invent Gothic Rock🔥
The word "masterpiece" doesn't probably fit for #JoyDivision... this is simply the most desperate, depressing, hopeless, DARKEST album ever made, written by a young vocalist and lyricist who took his life few months later aged 23❤️🔥
Essential🤘
In this album:
#IanCurtis – vocals
#BernardSumner – guitar, keyboards
#PeterHook – bass
#StephenMorris – drums, percussion
#15June
