🎼9 July 1975. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾 to Mr. Jack White, born John Anthony White in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Leader and founder along with his former wife Meg of White Stripes, protagonist in Bologna in 2004 of one of the most devastating concerts I've ever seen and author of maybe the most iconic song of the years 2000s... whatever happens on Sunday, England vs. Italy ⚽️ ... we will hear that once again at Wembley Stadium! 🤟😈

20 years ago The White Stripes, Garage Rock Duo from Detroit, #USA released their 4th studio album.
Elephant immediately recieved critical acclaim and marked the international breakthrough for the band becoming their best seller.
#WhiteStripes lo-fi approach to music and recording techninque (they didn't use computers, old tape machines instead) raised them as leading act of the so called Garage Rock Revival movement.
The main single "Seven Nation Army" became a sports anthem and still today a fans popular chant and one of the most recognizable songs worldwide!
In this album:
#JackWhite – vocals, guitar, piano, producer
#MegWhite – drums, vocals
Guest personnel
#MortCrim – speech
#HollyGolightly – vocals
