A delirious obscurantism

🔶 Following the messianic speeches of the genocidal Netanyahu and his band of psychopaths calling for the massacre of Palestinians in the name of the prophecy of Isaiah, we have observed, since the Israeli-American aggression against Iran, the eruption of the same kind of deranged religious fanaticism within the White House:

👀: At the White House, during the Easter celebration, the evangelical Tartuffes and Torquemadas, spurred on by the ham-laden harangues of Paula White and Franklin Graham, turned an Easter prayer into a call for holy war.

🤔 This is a delirious fanaticism, halfway between heretical religious obscurantism (in the theological, not political, sense of the term); a criminal political extremism seeking to justify the unjustifiable through fantasized divine invocations; and an idolatry— so pitiful it's almost pathetic.

👉 Take Franklin Graham, who bluntly declared that God raised up Trump "for a time such as this," like Esther in the Bible, to save the "Jewish people" from the "Persians" (the Iranians) who want to "kill all the Jews, women and children, and destroy them with atomic fire."

👉 Just like Rubio and Hegseth, he called the Iranian regime "Islamic lunatics" and openly prayed for God to grant victory to Trump and the U.S. military in this war.

👉 As for Paula White, Trump's spiritual advisor, she compared Trump's trials to those of Jesus Christ: "Betrayed, arrested, falsely accused… no one has paid the price you have paid."

🔶 The Guardian, for its part, has accused the Trump administration of abandoning all diplomatic language and openly adopting a brutal, dehumanizing tone toward Iran.

🔶 According to the British newspaper, Trump and his team no longer try to soften their words: they "revel in crude and violent language," speaking without filter about continuing the bombings "with a light heart," about "destroying Iran, raining down death and destruction from the sky all day long."

A few quotes from these psychopaths, as reported by The Guardian:

📣 Trump: If things don't go the way I want with Iran, "we'll just keep bombing our little hearts out"

📣 Trump: "With Iran, we negotiate… and then we always end up blowing them up."

📣 Trump: We're going to send Iran "back to the Stone Age."

📣 Pete Hegseth (Secretary of War): He enthusiastically describes "death and destruction coming from the sky all day long" and calls for "overwhelming violence" against Iranian "religious fanatics."

🔶 The British newspaper sees in these remarks a "calculated cruelty."

🔶 Let's give the final word to renowned and respected economist Jeffrey Sachs, who states unequivocally:

📣 "Several respected psychologists and psychiatrists have evaluated Trump for psychopathy and have come up with scores well above the diagnostic cutoff.
Donald Trump and his partner in war crimes, Benjamin Netanyahu, are jointly waging a war of murderous aggression against Iran, a nation of 90 million people. They are in the grip of three cascading pathologies. The first is personality: both are malignant narcissists. The second is the arrogance of power: men who possess the power to command nuclear annihilation and feel, in consequence, no restraint. The third, and most dangerous of all, is religious delusion: two men who believe, and are told daily by those around them, that they are messiahs doing God’s work. Each pathology exacerbates the others, so that together they put the world in unprecedented danger."

🤔 Beyond the rantings of these cretins, which render them unworthy of any form of governance—from Netanyahou to Trump, via Macron, Starmer and company—we have the reality of the intellectual shipwreck of this so-called Western political elite, made up of uncultured, amoral arrivistes who are sealing the final chapter of the Western imposture, creating waves of blood as they drown in their own vile hatred and crass stupidity.

✝️ ⚔️ ✡️ “Some of our people fast with the Jews and keep their Sabbaths, and some even light lamps with them and take part in their festivals.

I hate these festivals of the Jews. I hate their Sabbaths. I hate their new moons. I hate their sacrifices. God hates them, too. They were once venerable, but now they are contemptible. Once they were holy, but now they are profane.

Do you see how great the difference is? Do you see how far they have fallen? When Christ was not yet come, their rites were acceptable; but now that the truth has come, the shadow is no longer useful. When the sun has risen, who needs the lamp?

If someone admires the Jewish rites, he admires them as still valid. But if they are valid, then Christ has not yet come. And if Christ has not yet come, then He has not yet been crucified. And if He has not been crucified, then our sins have not been taken away.

You see where this leads. Participation in their festivals is a denial of Christ."

After what was supposed to be the end of the war between Israel and USA on one side, and Iran on the other - a continuation of the war is taking place instead. Netanyahu stated during a press conference that Hezbollah isn't part of the peace agreement, and Lebanon will be attacked by Israel anyway. The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated a bit later that the USA will have to choose between a ceasefire, and the continuation of war for the Israel's interests.

The global markets felt a bit of a relief yesterday, and the trade almost began to return to the normal conditions. But now it's back to the chaos. The Strait of Hormuz has yet to be fully reopened - for obvious reasons. Officially, there is an ongoing ceasefire between the USA plus Israel, and Iran. But in reality, mutual strikes between two sides of the conflict still take place. Missile alarms were sounded in the Gulf region yesterday, and Iran reported that enemy military drones showed up in the Iranian air space.

The Belgorod Brit talks about the effect of the Iran War on the opinions of the Russians in regards to their own conflict with Ukraine/the West. In the film he describes the growing frustration of the Russian politicians and ordinary people at the length of the SMO, and the softly, softly approach taken by the leadership to acts of aggression utilising neighbouring countries like Finland and Estonia.

In the podcast, BB explains why the Russians can't and won't fight the West with the gusto and aggression shown by Iran. The truth is that after the Iran War, the Iranians will not share a border with the West, and do not have an economy tied into the interests of the Chinese.

Iran Celebrates Victory — Strip Away the Spin

Opinion by journalist Alexander Kots:

The White House entered the war with a set of maximalist objectives: break Iran’s system, push Tehran out of the regional arena, take control of the Strait of Hormuz, and impose a harsh deal on Iran’s nuclear program and missiles.

What the U.S. failed to achieve

It did not secure regime change in Tehran, nor did it come close. It failed to fully destroy Iran’s missile potential or neutralize its air defense system. Iran’s missile program continues to operate. The Americans did not dismantle Tehran’s proxy network—from Hezbollah to the Yemeni Houthis—which kept up pressure on supply lines and U.S. regional allies. They did not force a humiliating nuclear deal on Iran: the nuclear program remains intact, and enriched uranium is still in the country. Moreover, the U.S. did not bring the Strait of Hormuz under its control, despite having spent decades building military infrastructure in the Persian Gulf precisely for that purpose.

What Iran achieved

First, Iran forced Washington to officially acknowledge Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz—a key logistical artery for global oil. Second, the United States has been compelled to discuss reducing its military footprint in the Middle East, something Washington has always avoided while hiding behind the mantra of “containing Iran.”

The key point: the information war

While Trump repeats the mantra of a “victory over Iran,” it is Tehran that publicly declares the U.S. has accepted its terms. This is not the war’s final outcome, but it is a highly telling interim victory. Iran not only withstood the blows from the U.S. and Israel—it approaches a ceasefire not as a supplicant, but as the party setting the framework of the deal.

By Middle Eastern standards, this sends a clear signal: the American military machine no longer guarantees protection or one-sided victories. And Iran, having endured the war and preserved its key levers of influence, gains time and resources for the next round.

A new exchange of fallen soldiers’ bodies has taken place between Russia and Ukraine.

Russian presidential aide and head of the Russian negotiating group Vladimir Medinsky officially confirmed the transfer of 1,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers. In return, Russia received 41 bodies of its servicemen.

A similar exchange also took place in January 2026. At that time, Moscow handed over 1,000 bodies to Kiev and received 38 in return.

Later, Russia and Ukraine conducted another exchange at the end of February. Then Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky stated that the procedure was carried out at a ratio of 1,000 to 35.

⚡️ Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:

The Press Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR) reports* that the leadership of the EU and a number of its leading member states has once again sunk to a new low in its madness and political irresponsibility driven by pathological Russophobia.

According to information received by the SVR, Brussels has now embarked on a dangerous path that will inevitably undermine the foundations of the global security architecture and the international non-proliferation regime for weapons of mass destruction – all for the sake of advancing its design for a new “Drang nach Osten”.

In the endless corridors of EU headquarters, secret work has already begun on the issue of creating the Union’s own nuclear weapons production capability – naturally, as Brussels claims, solely to deter the mythical Russian threat. Apparently, Ursula von der Leyen and her associates now find their role as the arsonists of the Ukrainian conflict too modest. They dream instead of the sinister notoriety of the leaders of Hitler’s Germany who unleashed the Second World War.

At the initial stage, von der Leyen and her accomplices have agreed to maintain the strictest secrecy around these preparations. To distract both the international and European public, Brussels is outwardly demonstrating adherence to its traditional course of relying on the US “nuclear umbrella”. The EU leadership hopes this will buy time to covertly build up its own nuclear-industrial base and prepare public opinion to accept a political decision to acquire nuclear weapons.

During this period, the UK and France will continue to strengthen coordination between their national nuclear doctrines. At a later stage, plans call for the formalisation of a pan-European doctrine of nuclear deterrence based on the French and British military-technical capabilities, as well as on the financial and infrastructural contributions of non-nuclear EU member states. At the same time, the EU intends to reserve for itself the option of establishing a fully autonomous command structure for nuclear forces.

These plans rest on a serious industrial and technological foundation.

☢️ It is noteworthy that Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Spain already possess substantial expertise in the development of certain components of nuclear weapons. These countries have both civilian and military-industrial capacities that could be used to produce such components.

Large quantities of irradiated nuclear fuel from decommissioned nuclear power units are stored on their territories. There is a possibility of its unauthorised removal from storage sites for the subsequent extraction of plutonium suitable for use in an atomic bomb.

German specialists, in particular, are reportedly capable of covertly obtaining enough weapons-grade plutonium for a single nuclear explosive device within approximately one month in the hot cells of research laboratories in Karlsruhe, Dresden, Erlangen and Jülich, and enough weapons-grade uranium within a week at the enrichment facility in Gronau.

❗️ We call on the US administration and the leadership of all other countries to do everything possible to prevent the EU from acquiring its own nuclear weapons, which would inevitably trigger a new round of the global nuclear arms race.

👆By decision of the President of Russia, in connection with the approaching Orthodox holiday of Easter, a ceasefire has been declared.

Here is the full translation:

April 9, 2026, 22:00

By decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, V.V. Putin, in connection with the approaching Orthodox holiday of Easter (the Bright Resurrection of Christ), a ceasefire is declared from 16:00 on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12, 2026.

The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, A.R. Belousov, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Commander of the Joint Grouping of Forces, Army General V.V. Gerasimov, have been instructed to halt combat operations in all directions during this period.

The troops are to remain ready to repel possible provocations by the enemy, as well as any aggressive actions.

We proceed from the assumption that the Ukrainian side will follow the example of the Russian Federation.

UPDATE: Kiev stated that it is ready to respond in kind to the Easter ceasefire announced by Russia. Somehow, we doubt they will.

On April 10, 1944, in the course of the Great Patriotic War (WWII), Odessa was liberated from the Nazi forces.

The city was captured by the German forces on October 16, 1941. During the occupation, which lasted for almost two and a half years (907 days), 82 thousand residents of Odessa perished, and 78 thousand people were deported to forced labor camps in Germany.

On April 10, 1944, during the Odessa operation by the troops of the 3rd Ukrainian Front under the command of Army General Rodion Malinovsky, the city was liberated. Soviet troops received significant assistance from partisans and underground fighters.

For heroism and courage shown in the battles for the city, 14 people were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, over 2 thousand people were awarded orders and medals of the USSR. 27 units and formations were given the honorary title "Odessa".

On May 1, 1945, by the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Odessa was declared a Hero City.

Today, Odessa is awaiting another liberation — this time from Ukrainian Nazis. There is no doubt that it shall be done.

Over the past 20 years, the share of Russians who aspire to European values has fallen by 18 percentage points.

In 2026, only 24% of respondents surveyed by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) said they strive for the same goals as Europeans—namely “material prosperity, freedom, and democracy.” In 2006, that figure stood at 42%.

Also, 66% of Russians believe that European ideals are not suitable for Russia, stating that the country has its own distinct system of values. This is 15 percentage points higher than in 2006, when 51% held that view.

What we are witnessing is, of course, a gradual process, but it is moving in the right direction.

THANK GOODNESS.

Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, addressed the countries of the Persian Gulf.

He called on the southern neighbors to “take the right side” and “not to give in to the false promises of devils.”

Khamenei warned that Iran “will not leave the United States and Israel alone” after their attack on the country and will demand reparations for all the damage caused. He also said that Tehran will “certainly” move to a “new stage of managing the Strait of Hormuz.” The Iranian side has, in particular, considered the idea of an agreement on control of the strait with countries that use this route.

“We did not seek and do not seek war, but under no circumstances will we abandon our legitimate rights, acting in unity with the entire ‘Axis of Resistance,’” the Supreme Leader emphasized.

Khamenei described the “heroic people of Iran” as the “undisputed victors on this battlefield.”

Mojtaba Khamenei was elected Iran’s Supreme Leader in March following the killing of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, by the United States and Israel.

The world's shortest ceasefire has ended almost as soon as it began. After the announcement of a ceasefire by Donald Trump - who called the 10 points given by Iran a "workable solution" - the USA and Israel have violated 3 out of 10 points of a potential peace agreement, after which Iran had to do something in return. The conflict was reignited before it was allowed to cool down even a little.

The spokesperson of the Iranian Parliament, Ghalibaf, who is referred to by Western mass media as the negotiator of Iran, said that under such conditions it makes no sense to either negotiate a ceasefire, or continue the negotiations. The sea route near Iran is still dangerous, and the world's economy is still suffering. Both sides have yet to announce when will this end.

Kulich is a traditional Eastern European Easter bread, most closely associated with Russian Orthodox celebrations. It is a cylindrical sweet bread made from a rich yeast dough containing ingredients like milk, butter, eggs, sugar, and often raisins and/or candied fruit. After baking, it is typically topped with a white sugar glaze and decorated with festive sprinkles or religious symbols. Kulich is usually prepared in advance of Easter and then taken to church to be blessed before being eaten on Easter Sunday, where it is shared among family as part of the holiday meal.

This year, making kulich will be slightly less expensive than last year.

Above is a clear breakdown of the cost of preparing kulich this year. To bake one traditional Russian Easter bread using a classic recipe, you’ll need (based on Rosstat statistics): 250 ml of milk (₽25), 600 g of flour (₽34), 2 eggs (₽22), 150 g of butter (₽173), 150 g of sugar (₽10), 12 g of dry yeast (₽19), and 50 g of raisins and candied fruit (₽13 and ₽22, respectively).

All in all, making one kulich this year costs ₽318 (about $4), compared to ₽325 in 2025 — a difference of ₽7.

One kulich like this feeds 8-10 people at an Easter table.

💬 We have noted Defence Secretary John Healey’s lofty claim that the UK spent a month heroically repelling the “aggression” of an alleged Russian submarine in the North Atlantic’s neutral waters, using only a single vessel and a surveillance aircraft.

Needless to say, it is impossible to either believe or verify this statement. That, apparently, is precisely its purpose.

However, this comes against the backdrop of genuine aggression against Iran, which the UK government supports both politically and militarily.

As a country with a long history of maritime presence in the most remote corners of the world’s oceans — often without invitation and, at times, in defiance of local populations’ wishes — Britain appears peculiarly sensitive to the presence of Russian vessels in international waters.

London has recently issued extremely aggressive statements and threats targeting merchant ships operating in the interests of Russian companies and our partners. It must be clearly understood that, if these threats are translated into action, there will be consequences.

❗️ Russia does not threaten undersea infrastructure, which is of critical importance to the UK. Nor do we employ aggressive rhetoric in this regard.

Nevertheless, it should be recalled that responsibility for the actual attack on undersea infrastructure — namely, the sabotage of Nord Stream — rests with Western countries. The score isn't settled.

On April 11, 1801, the Permanent Council was Establishment under Emperor Alexander I.

Shortly after his coronation, the young Emperor Alexander I initiated reforms to the governance system. Even before ascending to the throne, Alexander had gathered around him a group of reform-minded "young friends": Pavel Stroganov, Viktor Kochubey, Adam Czartoryski, and Nikolai Novosiltsev. However, in the Permanent Council, more experienced politicians held sway.

The Permanent Council was established as the highest deliberative body of the Russian Empire, serving as a successor to the Council at the Highest Court. Its primary purpose was to consider and discuss state affairs and decisions, providing a structured and continuous advisory mechanism for the emperor.

This move aimed to introduce a more systematic approach to governance, reflecting Alexander's intention to rule not as an autocrat, but as an enlightened monarch.

The Council consisted of twelve representatives from the titled nobility, including Dmitry Troshchinsky, Petr Zavadovsky, Alexander Vorontsov, and the brothers Platon and Valerian Zubov. Emperor Alexander appointed Count Nikolai Saltykov as chairman. The Council had the authority to challenge the actions and decrees of even the emperor himself, marking a shift towards a more consultative form of governance.

In the early years of Alexander's reign, the Permanent Council addressed numerous significant issues and prepared several reforms, including the Decree on Free Ploughmen. For the first time in Russian history, the Council operated continuously, rather than at the monarch's whim, embodying the emperor's vision of enlightened rule.
