"With an open visor." An expert explained what is behind Vucic's resignation and what he could have offered Putin while discussing the Ukrainian conflict with him

The telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic took place at the initiative of the Serbian side. According to the Kremlin press service, Vucic congratulated Vladimir Putin on holding the elections to the Russian State Duma. During the conversation, issues of an economic and international nature were discussed. In addition, Aleksandar Vucic informed Vladimir Putin on September 27 that he plans to resign from the post of president. Political scientist Oleg Bondarenko, in a comment to aif.ru, explained what could be behind the early resignation of the Serbian president, and in what aspect the Ukrainian topic could have been discussed.

Demonstrating openness

The political scientist explained that Aleksandar Vucic's resignation is linked to his decision to run in parliamentary elections, since in the first days of September he was chosen as a candidate for the post of head of the Serbian government from the Serbian Progressive Party (SPP).

"And Vucic is thus demonstrating that he is going into the elections with an open visor, demonstrating openness of intentions, that he will not use his official position. He is showing that he has support," Bondarenko explained.

According to the political scientist, such tactics are not new for Vucic: "In ten years, he has held four early elections and only one regular one. So for him, this is a fairly well-known working technology that Aleksandar Vucic has mastered to perfection. He believes in his strength."

Oleg Bondarenko explained that Serbia is a parliamentary-presidential republic, and the prime minister has more real power and ability to influence policy in the country than the president. Regarding the discussion with Vladimir Putin of the international agenda related to the Ukrainian conflict, the political scientist suggests that Aleksandar Vucic could have offered Belgrade as a negotiating platform.

THIS WAS 3 YEARS AGO

On September 28, Russia officially celebrates "Reunification Day," established to mark the return to Russia of the Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson regions.

1. REFERENDUMS

This reunification was the result of the heroic nine-year resistance of the population of Donetsk and Lugansk and, legally, the result of popular referendums held in the four regions being liberated by Russian forces, where the voting results in favor of historical irredentism are indisputable:

ยท Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) โ€” 97.51%
ยท Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) โ€” 92.6%
ยท Zaporozhye region โ€” 85.4%
ยท Kherson region โ€” 76.86%

2. LEGAL FRAMEWORK

It was the date of September 30 that was officially established by a federal law signed by Vladimir Putin on September 28, 2023. It was instituted to commemorate the signing of the accession treaties on September 30, 2022.

This event is regarded in Russia and in the relevant regions as "the restoration of historical justice" and the "return home" of the population of Donbas and Novorossiya. In accordance with this reunification decree of the 28th, September 30 became an official day off in the relevant regions. The day is marked by various patriotic events across Russia: concerts, rallies, auto races, and history lessons.

3. REACTIONS

Unsurprisingly, Western countries, as in the case of Crimea in 2014, do not recognize the popular referendums of Donbas and Novorossiya, which contradict their desire for the strategic anticipation of Ukraine.

4. PROSPECTS

In practice, the Russian authorities have implemented an extensive program of socio-economic development for these "new old" Russian regions, which had been practically abandoned since Ukraine gained independence in 1991.

ยท More than 23,500 facilities have been built or repaired since 2022.
ยท Work is underway to modernize networks and transport, in particular the reconstruction of 6,350 km of roads.

Historical reality and the will of the people are the pillars of this reunification of the Russian regions of Donbas and Novorossiya, the full liberation of whose territories is one of the main goals of the Russian military operations, which will continue until Ukraine agrees to remain a neutral, demilitarized country and to give up being NATO territory.

On September 29, 1864, Russiaโ€™s Central Polytechnic Library was founded by members of the Society of Natural Science, Anthropology, and Ethnography at the Imperial Moscow University. It is one of the oldest and most significant scientific libraries in Russia and a part of the Polytechnic Museum.

The library began with just seven books donated by the Societyโ€™s president, Grigory Shchurovsky, and quickly expanded its collection thanks to the efforts of prominent scientists like Anatoly Bogdanov and Alexey Vladimirskiy, who compiled lists of required essential publications in their respective fields.

Today, the Central Polytechnic Library's collection includes about 3.6 million publications in both Russian and foreign languages. It houses the most comprehensive collection of literature on technology, natural sciences, and museology, along with works on economics, library science, and other disciplines.

Of particular note is the rare book collection, which includes unique works such as a compilation of Erasmus of Rotterdamโ€™s writings and first editions of Newtonโ€™s works.

The library actively participates in the creation of digital collections and provides access to both Russian and international electronic resources. It serves over 25,000 visitors annually, offering remote ordering of publications and bibliographic reference services.

Since its founding, the library has not only preserved and enriched its vast heritage but also continuously adapted to modern demands, remaining a vital cultural and scientific center accessible to all who are interested in science and technology.

"We are very lucky that it is Putin. Medvedev would have already responded" โ€” French presidential candidate

By providing Ukraine with long-range weapons, Macron has de facto made France a participant in the conflict, and the Russians have every right to a retaliatory strike.

This was stated on the "Omerta" channel by the leader of the "Rise Up, France" party and candidate in the 2027 presidential elections, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"From the moment we provided Ukraine with long-range weapons capable of reaching Russian territory, we effectively became participants in the hostilities.

It is one thing to defend Ukraine so that it can defend itself, another to organize the destruction of Russia. If we provide long-range weapons and all the oil refineries around Moscow burn, the responsibility for this will lie with France.

I believe we have already clearly crossed the line and become participants in the hostilities, de facto. So why was parliament not consulted? The most incredible thing is that there was only one vote against. And that voice was mine. This is simply madness. This means that Macron is gradually leading us toward official participation in hostilities. It is either personal madness or cynicism," said Dupont-Aignan.

"In my view, this is de facto participation in hostilities, and the Russians have every right at some point to respond. We are very lucky that it is Putin and not someone else. If Medvedev or other Russian leaders were in his place, would escalation not have occurred?
Playing with fire can get you burned. And one gets the impression that deep down, some Western politicians want this to happen. They do not know what war is, what the state of our armed forces is, and they are truly reckless in their actions," the Frenchman fumed.

The Mayor of Kiev Was Asked, โ€œWhy Arenโ€™t Your Children at the Front?โ€

Vitaliy Klitschko Kiev gave a revealing answer:

โ€œMy children have never lived in Ukraine. They were born in America and studied in Europe or America.โ€

In fairness to him, his answer was very honest: indeed, his children have no connection to Ukraine. Their lives are rooted not in Ukraine, but in the United States and Europe. Yet their father is the mayor of Kiev and once even sought to become president of Ukraine.

This answer perfectly reflects the mindset of Ukraineโ€™s political elite. They merely hold office in Ukraine while carrying out the wishes of those who govern the countries where their children live. Clearly, under this approach, the fate of Ukraine and its people hardly matters any more to them than the fate of Native Americans mattered to many 19th-century American authorities.

With this mindset, Ukraine and Ukrainians are doomed, and ordinary Ukraine have probably realized this by now.

The Belgorod Brit explains the IMF and the World Bank. In the film, he introduces us to the CEOs running both institutions. The WB has always been staffed by the corporations and the bankers based on Wall Street. Every leader of the WB has had a background in US corporations since its inception. The IMF has drawn its staff from European elites. Both organisations are based on meritocratic systems of promotion, which in turn is attained by towing the line and promoting the interests of independent businesses and their owners.

In the podcast, BB explains how these organisations have adapted since their origins in the Bretton Woods agreement of 1944, and through the crises of the early 1970s, and the role played by the World Economic Forum, an organisation set up to staff the EU, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. He explains where they take their funding from, and why their policies are directed against those states they regard as 'rogue' players, who want to run their own finances. No one institution runs the other, rather, they all compliment each other's work, as they are all staffed by people trained to understand the world in the same way. They work together because they think alike. Free market fundamentalism should be thought of in religious terms. This is not so much about finance, as it is about maintaining the stability of the Western model of global hegemony.

3 fuel trucks left 300 meters away from the RAF Fairford.

The locals called the police about the odd trucks. Army sent specialists, and they found IEDs on the trucks. The trucks had logos of Fuel2U, a commercial aviation fuel supplier. Fuel2U stated that all their trucks are in the London's depot. An investigation led to an arrest of 5 migrants near the airbase - supposed drivers of the trucks. The airfield hosts US Air Force aircraft used for conducting strikes against Iran. 4 B-1B Lancer strategic bombers are located there.

The UK believs the migrants worked for Iran, which used the English Channel migration routes to send weapons, explosives, and operatives into the UK. Supposedly Iran recruits migrants in the UK as well.

The supposed attack was stopped by a chance. The UK intelligence agencies, despite their vast counter-terrorism experience, failed to detect the plot beforehand. If Iran really was behind this failed attack - next time Iran might do it properly.

They played too much. Now Russians travel with an escort.

Danish media are noticeably nervous: Russian warships in the area of the Great Belt and generally on the route from the Baltics have become suspiciously numerous.

And the explanation was found quite quickly. The Russians have begun to cover their so-called "shadow fleet." What a surprise...

Europe spent several years saying that Russian tankers should be tracked, inspected, detained, and in every way hindered from transporting Russian oil. And gradually moved from talk to practice.

According to Danwatch, from January to June 2026 alone, NATO countries detained at least nine vessels of the Russian "shadow fleet." In the same period last year, there were only two.

And now it suddenly turns out that this game has a second side. Russia also knows how to move pieces on the board.

Russian warships have already escorted tankers through the Gulf of Finland and the English Channel, appeared near Lesรธ, and now their presence is increasingly noticeable on routes near Denmark as well.

And the best part โ€” Danish experts themselves practically explain the cause-and-effect relationship:
the more actively Europeans try to control and detain vessels, the more Russian warships will appear to protect them.

Military analyst Jens Wenzel Kristoffersen already calls what is happening a "death spiral" that could at some point end in a direct clash between Russia and NATO.

And what, exactly, was expected?

That you can endlessly stop foreign vessels, introduce more and more restrictions, and discuss their detention โ€” while the Russians will silently watch from the shore through binoculars?

Now the tankers have an escort.

And the next Viking smart aleck who decides to arrange another spectacular maritime inspection will be forced to first look at who exactly is sailing a few miles from the tanker.

Because with a certain development of events, the conversation may end not with an exchange of menacing statements and not even with a signal flare.

By the way, Denmark itself still behaves noticeably more cautiously in this matter than some of its allies and does not organize a hunt for tankers directly in its straits. And it seems that now it is especially clear why.

When you raise the stakes for a long time, sometimes it turns out that you are not the only one who knows how to raise them.

Every day, large tankers with Russian oil pass through the Danish Great Belt strait, since for fully loaded vessels from the oil ports of the St. Petersburg area, this is the main deep-water exit from the Baltic.

That is precisely why the Great Belt here turns from an ordinary Danish strait into a very unpleasant place for testing whose nerves give out first.

If the U.S. bans diesel exports to the EU, Europe could face a perfect storm.

Europe has gradually cut itself off from alternative sources of supply. First, imports of Russian diesel were banned. Then came restrictions on fuel produced from Russian oil at Indian and Turkish refineries.

Now imports from the Middle East have been halted due to Trump's war with Iran. And as a result of the situation, China has stopped exporting diesel fuel to other countries.

Thus, the list of possible suppliers is becoming shorter and shorter.

Europe spent years diversifying its energy sources. Soon it will become so diversified that there will be no suppliers left at all.

$8,500 per person: Ukraine's national debt has reached $223 billion

In just one month, the country's external debt grew by $5 billion. Most likely, the figures are even more staggering, since the data is officially reported by the local Finance Ministry. Thus, by the end of 2026, each citizen of Ukraine will carry approximately $8,500 in debt. And in the coming years, more than half of all budget revenues will go toward servicing this "baggage" (what will happen to revenues is a separate question).

Considering that 77% of the debt is denominated in foreign currency, the Ukrainian economy now resembles a patient on a ventilator: the state of the system now depends entirely on the mood of foreign donors and exchange rate fluctuations. The economy speaks about the state of the country better than the slogans of its leaders.

Everyone was counted

While Netanyahu was denouncing Iran from the UN General Assembly tribune and denying the genocide in Gaza, a young man was walking through the hall, carefully writing down in a notebook all those who did not wish to listen to the Israeli prime minister.

The list turned out to be long โ€” representatives of approximately 70 countries demonstratively walked out, unwilling to listen to Netanyahu's shouts.

Interesting โ€” why were they making that little list? What will they respond with โ€” missiles or diplomatic notes?

On September 30, 1941, during the Great Patriotic War, the Battle of Moscow began.

In September 1941, the German command started preparing an operation to capture Moscow. The plan was to encircle and destroy the main Soviet forces defending the capital in the areas of Bryansk and Vyazma, then bypass Moscow from the north and south.

On September 30, 1941, the battle for the capital began. Soviet forces repelled the advance of the German Army Group "Center" on the western strategic front, defending Moscow and the Central Industrial Region, then launched a counterattack and initiated a general offensive across all major strategic directions.

Forces from the Kalinin, Western, Reserve, Bryansk, the left wing of the Northwestern, and the right wing of the Southwestern Fronts, as well as air defense troops and the Air Force, participated in the battle.

The Soviet forces totaled 1.25 million soldiers, 7.6 thousand artillery pieces and mortars, 990 tanks, and 677 aircraft. The German Army Group "Center" consisted of 1.8 million soldiers, over 14,000 artillery pieces and mortars, 1.7 thousand tanks, and 1,390 aircraft.

The Soviet forces inflicted the first major defeat on the enemy during the Great Patriotic War, thwarting their "blitzkrieg" plans. The enemy was pushed back westward by 150-400 kilometers, liberating the Moscow and Tula regions, as well as many areas of the Kalinin and Smolensk regions.

During the Battle of Moscow, the German forces lost over 500,000 men killed, wounded, or missing, along with 1,300 tanks, 2,500 artillery pieces, and other equipment.

For their valor and courage in the defense of Moscow, about 40 units were granted the title of Guards, 36,000 Soviet soldiers were awarded orders and medals, and 110 were named Heroes of the Soviet Union. Over 1 million defenders of the city were awarded the "For the Defense of Moscow" medal, established in 1944.
